Portofino Bistro is a must visit for anyone who enjoys excellent Italian food, fresh fish and Vegan options. Fresh ingredients are used in preparation of each meal that authenticates a bistro in the Mediterranean. Our veal parm was outstanding, tender and flavorful and the bread is divine. Chef Marcelo is talented in his meal creations as every entree is thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere is intimate and inviting with cloth tablecloths, soft lighting and an excellent wine list. The Service at Portofino Bistro with wait staff, Gustavo and Andrew, is of a 5 star restaurant meeting the customers requirements to enjoy their dining experience. We will return, as we love to dine here and enjoy their consistent delicious meals.

This was our first visit. The staff was very friendly. The food was delicious. Although the restaurant isn't fancy, the food was as good as any high end place we ha e been to. We will come back

We decided to try Portofino for dinner based on the reviews. It's a restaurant in a mall and we didn't realize there is no bar and they only have a wine and beer liquor license which is disappointing on both counts. Our experience began with bread service -they brought three little pieces - it was warm - and served it with tasteless EVOO. We requested a more robust olive oil which they brought out from the kitchen - much better! What they have on the table is terrible for a mediterranean restaurant and they could have been more generous with the bread but they were happy to bring more. We had the escargot which was a generous portion with a good garlic and herb sauce. It would have been a little better if served with They could have crostini but they did have seafood forks (bonus for that!). We also shared the Branzino served over spinach - they have a $5.00 sharing charge but as you can see from the pictures - we each got a full entree sized serving. It was cooked very well and the sauce was delicious.
Next time - While the food is very good, we do not find the ambiance inviting - the lighting is too bright and the exposed kitchen is not attractive. The lack of bar seating and a full bar would deter us from coming back - sadly.

We had a fantastic time on Saturday night! It was our first time there and the food and the service was great. We had stuffed mushrooms, and crab cakes for appetizers, and Branzino, veal parm, shrimp scampi, and Pompano made piccata style. Everyone loved everything about their meal. We will definitely be back!
Such a great experience here! First time but won’t be the last. Everything was so tasty and fresh!

What a great local restaurant, the food is excellent, the price is unbelievable!
There are only two restaurants in Palm Beach County that has a phenomenal Veal chop, Paradiso in Lake Worth, and Portofino in Juno Beach, this place is off the radar, but food is truly delicious!!

Visiting from out of town for my Birthday and had dinner at this place. The food was awesome. You must try the duck and chicken franchese. The service was also impeccable. We will definitely return if we're in this area again.
Andrew was an amazing server! I am new to the area and am scooping out highly rated restaurants. My boyfriend has lived in the area over 9 years and this is his first time! And will certainly not be our last time! We started with a nice glass of Sancerre and Chile savigionon blanc. The bread was nice and warm! Had sautéed calamari and sausage and broccoli rabe to start - delicious! Super sweet tasting sausage pairing extremely well with the broccoli in the sauce with ample garlic slices. For our mains we had the special - veal chop layered in Parmesan with their house red sauce with a side of homemade raviolis and the veal scarpatiello paired with their baby amarone wine 😍. Location is a Diamond in the rough - 100% worth it! Food. Service. Wine. ✅

We had another wonderful dinner last night at this white tablecloth yet casual restaurant. The meal from salad through the ricotta cheesecake dessert and double espresso was fabulous! I highly recommend trying this place.
