“I've never had a bad meal here, and the service is excellent. Everything is cooked to order, so it takes time. The staff makes every effort to prepare and serve the food in a timely manner.”
“What a gem in Juno Beach/ kind of an old school place, wood paneling, Tiffany lamps, golf flags, lots of tchotchkes, etc. There is a line out front every day and when you eat here - you know why! Impressive hand written menu with an equally impressive list of local and fresh fish for the day - with some creative preparations. I had swordfish au poivre (which is one of their staples)- which was outstanding. Big piece of fish and an amazing peppercorn/cream sauce. My wife had snapper with a spinach/creamed corn base - which was also super . Good selection of appetizers (Stone Crabs!), salads, oysters, etc. as well a good wine list and draft beer. Place was packed at 8PM on a Monday night - and you can hang out in their ‘lunchroom’ just 2 doors down - basically a bar with tables - while you wait to be seated. If you like fresh fish in a cool, authentic local setting - you won’t be disappointed with Captain Charlie’s!”
“My go to for breakfast when in Palm Beach gardens. I've never had something I didn't like, and when I go back home, I try recreating their burritos.”
“I’ve been going here for 30+ years and it never disappoints. Our waiter Sasa was excellent and dinner was outstanding, as always. It’s not a visit to Jupiter without dinner here❤️. My fav!!!”
“The tomato soup is literally to die for plus the tiny sandwiches are so good (especially the cucumber cream cheese) would definitely recommend for a girls outing! I go all the ”
“If you walk into Garden City Cafe thinking, Maybe this is that sort of place that if Guy Fieri featured it on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, there would be a line out the door instead of empty seats. You'd probably be wrong thinking that, though, the power of suggestion notwithstanding. The food is probably 3.5 more than 4, but I'm averaging up because it's worth giving the place a try if you've driven by dozens of times and wondered what it was like. Don't expect the tourist-trap decor offered by so many other nearby places (although there is some tropical kitsch) and the interior is rather dark. At lunch time there may only be a single wait staff member, who may become a bit disheveled if an apparently unexpected number of people show up.The food is good (like better-than-average diner fare) and I've gone back, but this is more like a place for the neighborhood than a destination restaurant. I doubt many people drive more than a few miles to eat there. I am yet to encounter a happy employee, however. It's not that the service is bad, it's decent service, everyone just looks as if hoping they might get a better offer.”
“Great food and service. Have had Pompano many places over the years, however nothing compares with the preparation and freshness served at Portofino. Overall a great dining experience.”
“Took 7 friends to celebrate here and we LOVED IT! Our waitress Genna was the absolute BEST! So kind and on top of her game! Food was outstanding and the cocktails were DELICIOUS!!! Also the key lime baked alaska was FIRE!!”
“Someone I was with ordered onion rings and they were amazing (note: don't like onion rings). Ribs and the wrap were good. The burger was great. Our waitress was very attentive. Our drinks were always full.”
“This little market has DELICIOUS food!Sandwiches, salads, prepared foods, marinara, desserts....ALL fantastic!!!!! I come here every couple of days. Today the Bari salad w grilled chicken- amazing!!”
“Cathy met us as we walked in and provided suggestions. We had a stuffed shrimp appetizer and tuna wrap & coconut shrimp as a main course. The food was very tasty and well presented! Thank you!”
“The sushi is good, food arrived very fast, I think it’s a bit overpriced, nothing special about the service or its welcoming. They gave us the menu with the Sake which states the price but on the bill they up charged additional 5$ - when I said the menu say otherwise their first reply was “that’s the old menu” and I had to insist to pay extra - so that’s kind of shaved one star off that I even need to argue on that. But all in all nice sushi, nice place. Before that one - we had the young male server which was a lot better experience than this time, he was suggesting things off the menu and he was very friendly and actually we came back because of him”
“Love the pecan roasted chicken salad. My absolute favorite.Parking: Usually enough empty spots to provide easy of parking but on some days when lots of people are out for dinner, parking can become somewhat difficult.”
“The food was delicious. I ordered the Salmon Florentine with broccoli. It was perfect. My broccoli was cooked just the way I liked it. Our server was a rockstar. She's a sweet person with a great humor. This was my parents second time there and they loved it too.”
“This is a hidden gem!!!! The brioche rolls are incredible with a slight crisp. My fav is just the regular roll with butter and I add garlic salt. Great place for lunch, since it’s tucked away it’s not overly crowded so you can get in and out and not worry about waiting if you’re in a rush.”
