Firstly, kindly greeted by owner Pat who treated us to some samples of soup of the day as well as a ginger, turmeric and lemon wellness shot. Instead of ordering on our own, we went with Pat’s recommendation of the Maryland style shrimp salad sandwich….WOW! So delicious!! Will definitely return while here in West Palm Beach!!”

“I’ve been searching and searching for a restaurant that truly delivers an authentic experience, and I’m so glad I stopped in and gave this place a chance. I moved from Arkansas to West Palm about a year ago, and ever since, I’ve struggled to find Mexican food that really captures the flavors—most places around here either aren’t what they claim to be or don’t even feel truly Mexican at all. Walking in, the restaurant was busy—which I love to see, because it tells me people genuinely enjoy the food. I was helped by a young gentleman (I didn’t catch his name), but he was phenomenal—attentive, welcoming, and made the experience even better. I had been calling around all day looking for menudo because I’ve been craving it, but most places only serve it on weekends until it runs out. Unfortunately, when I got there, they were out, and I almost left because I had my heart set on it—but I’m really glad I stayed. I started with the chicharrones and guacamole—crispy, fresh, and full of flavor. It instantly took me back to those Sundays, hanging out with family while food was being made in the backyard. Then came the pozole… and wow. One bite almost had me in tears—it caught me off guard in the best way and felt like eating at the table with family again. The restaurant itself is beautiful—warm, welcoming, and comfortable. It honestly felt like being in Mexico at the pulgas, walking around surrounded by all the art, decorations, and that rancho-style kitchenware everywhere you look. And the aguas? Absolutely on point. There’s something really special about this place. I came in expecting good food, but I left feeling like I was just leaving my mom’s house or one of my sisters’—that’s how much it felt like home for me. I’ll definitely be coming back—and bringing friends with me.”

“Been looking forward to eating at the Birdie since the early stages of the Nautilus construction. Don't know much about celebrity Chef David Burke but John our server went above and beyond to make us feel really welcomed. He was by himself but made us feel at ease and was incredibly friendly that we didn't mind the small wait for a party of 9 even though it was pretty slow. John explained the menu and covered all the items on the menu and answered our questions in detail. The food was delicious and the chef nailed it. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The calamari and tater tots were so crispy. The Badass dog and the Devil wears Prada foot long were some of the best hot dogs I've ever had. Better than Chicago dogs. The simulator games were super fun and entertaining and kept us busy prior to being served. The atmosphere felt relaxed and family oriented with breathtaking water views. John was super humble and made sure everyone was happy with the service. Will look at definitely returning.”

“This is my first time purchasing a meal from this restaurant. I had purchased A large Brown Stew Chicken. The atmosphere and Customer service were great. My meal had more bones than meat and the cabbage was very bland. The rice and beans with the gravy were good. Would I go back there again? Maybe.”
