“I’ve been searching and searching for a restaurant that truly delivers an authentic experience, and I’m so glad I stopped in and gave this place a chance. I moved from Arkansas to West Palm about a year ago, and ever since, I’ve struggled to find Mexican food that really captures the flavors—most places around here either aren’t what they claim to be or don’t even feel truly Mexican at all. Walking in, the restaurant was busy—which I love to see, because it tells me people genuinely enjoy the food. I was helped by a young gentleman (I didn’t catch his name), but he was phenomenal—attentive, welcoming, and made the experience even better. I had been calling around all day looking for menudo because I’ve been craving it, but most places only serve it on weekends until it runs out. Unfortunately, when I got there, they were out, and I almost left because I had my heart set on it—but I’m really glad I stayed. I started with the chicharrones and guacamole—crispy, fresh, and full of flavor. It instantly took me back to those Sundays, hanging out with family while food was being made in the backyard. Then came the pozole… and wow. One bite almost had me in tears—it caught me off guard in the best way and felt like eating at the table with family again. The restaurant itself is beautiful—warm, welcoming, and comfortable. It honestly felt like being in Mexico at the pulgas, walking around surrounded by all the art, decorations, and that rancho-style kitchenware everywhere you look. And the aguas? Absolutely on point. There’s something really special about this place. I came in expecting good food, but I left feeling like I was just leaving my mom’s house or one of my sisters’—that’s how much it felt like home for me. I’ll definitely be coming back—and bringing friends with me.“

“My first experience dining here, read the reviews and they sounded good so decided to book a reservation. Arrived at the restaurant had to park four blocks away parking is atrocious. The hostess was busy talking on her phone, never a good sign. Sat down finally, decided on an appetizer and some entrees the waiter came back and said they were out of the appetizer, started off bad. Very limited fish dishes, ordered a steak dish and a fish dish,nothing spectacular and it was tough we did not say anything to the waiter the whole situation from beginning to end a total disappointment, couldn't wait to leave, actually felt nauseated after leaving after eating my fish with risotto, it was so greasy. Very loud place hard to have a conversation.I don't know what the hype is about this place because the prices do not match the food quality or the presentation. Would not recommend nor would I go back ever. The whole vibe was uninspiring and the atmosphere was just not a good experience or fun. I guess if you're a drinker this place might be fun but if you're not it makes waiting for your entree for 45 minutes more excruciating, was not impressed about anything about this place and I wanted to be. Note to manager find a Hostess that seems like she's interested in seating people and not talking on the phone. I could honestly say I had better food at the gas station on the way into town, the homemade empanadas there were amazing. All I can say to people is beware of reviews you'll get burned I know I have on several occasions. I've run into people who absolutely love this place while I've been in town, wish I could say the same. maybe I was there on an off night but waiting 45 minutes for an entree when three of their tables were seated and served before I was seemed a little strange. the wait staff seem tired and uninspired.“

“My wife and I had a wonderful experience when we visited the restaurant in Alton. The music was loud and we were going to leave but my wife decided to go speak with one of the managers to see if he could do anything about it because we have hearing problems. He immediately got the music turned down a little and then got us a seat within 5 minutes. The food was wonderful and Chris the GM kept checking with us that we were being taken care of. “This was my first time eating at Olive U. My doctor recently told me to eat Medeterian foods only because of a fatty liver. I can't believe how delicious the food is. No salt but flavored so tasty. After sitting outside for about 20 minutes without a server visiting our table, we moved inside to the bar to get quicker service. Seeing what happened, Justin took full ownership of his team's oversight and personally brought out every single one of our dishes. It was humbling to see a manager care so much about his guests' experience and go so far out of his way to turn our evening around.
Our bartender, Sage, was also incredibly sweet, attentive, and professional.

“Where do I even start. I honestly can’t thank Hullabaloo enough. Joe, Alex, and the entire staff. I spent months planning and searching for the right place, day, and time to propose to my girlfriend. Hullabaloo ended up being the perfect gem with everything I needed. I reached out with a loose plan, trying to keep everything as organic as possible and not disrupt their normal operations. They went above and beyond anyway. On an extremely busy Saturday night, they reserved the perfect table for the proposal. I had over 20 family members arriving “in secret,” with half of them traveling from out of state. The staff — including even former staff members — coordinated everything through their back entrance and took incredible care of my entire family in their hangar out back. I didn’t ask for any of this. Dinner was phenomenal. Filet mignon, salmon. In all honesty, the food is underpriced for the quality. There was a small hiccup with karaoke timing, but Alex kept everyone updated and communicated seamlessly with my group the entire time. I ended up singing to my now fiancée in an incredible environment, surrounded by nothing but cheers and tears from the entire restaurant. They continued taking care of us for the rest of the night while we did our best not to be in their way. It was a “movie scene” moment, and they made it happen.
