I’m so glad I found this place! Really homey mom and pop type of feeling inside, but usually around this time of year outside is splendid. The soups are to die for! Every time I come we get the crab cakes (HUGE lumps of crab in there!) and lobster bisque or clam chowder. So so good - highly recommend.
The food was delicious. We took a wrong turn coming back from Jupiter and we were on the island. We drove all the way into Hobe Sound and back tracked 6 miles to get to Chowder Heads just for their clam chowder. The food was delicious
I have eaten here a few times over the years and found it to be decent, no issues to report. My recent experience was not good. Was in the mood for fried seafood and have already had the scallops and shrimp. So I decided to try the Haddock since next to it said FRESH. I think not as it had a funky taste and was very bland. My beef is it was absolutely not very fresh. Secondly when you are charging close to $30 for a lunch entree make your own french fries for god's...
