My husband and I went here for lunch. We ordered two Cubans and a tamale. The Cubans had very little pulled pork. In fact a little bit that was on the sandwich was overcooked. They used pressed ham, and even after they pressed the sandwich, the bread was soggy on the bottom, so the sandwich fell apart. Absolutely horrible! As far as a tamale goes, my husband said it was ham and rice, and was terrible. Whoever heard of a ham and rice tamale. Gross!We decided not to finish the food and as we were paying, we were asked how the food was so we were honest with them. Hopefully they’ll step up their game now. Wie’ll never go back.

I can't BELIEVE they served this dried up, jerky-hard roast pork on my Cuban sandwich. That was $12 bucks in the trash. NO ONE would eat this refuse. This roast pork has to be a week old. I'm so jealous of all the people who reviewed this place saying the Cuban sandwich was good. Seriously, this thing they served me is not even something I will feed my DOG. I'm hungry and they stole my lunch money!

Went to a place called Tropicuban in Kenneth City to try their food. After getting our carryout, I discovered the restaurant added a tip to my order. Imagine my surprise when I got home, but this may be the foreshadowing of things to come. I usually tip well if I get good service in a restaurant, but now the lines are blurred as the expectation is you're supposed to tip for togo orders, which is BS. I have a feeling more restaurants will start adding tips to carry out orders. Does that mean drive-thrus will start following suit? The food was OK at this place, but they will never get my business again.

Hours are incorrect. Im here on a Saturday morning at 9:03 and theyre closed. No one inside so not prepping to open. :( Drove across town. Dang.
Great food, prices, and people. No formalities are needed. Tell them what ya want, you'll be happy with the price and very happy with the food. Lunchtime is the best time to go.

Service was on the slow side the people working there could hardly understand what I was saying since they were all Cuban.Really not comfortable settings 3 small tables to sit down at with uncomfortable chairs.

Stopped and had lunch at the tropicuben and Cafe on Saturday, the Cuban sandwich was over the top the tamale was hot and delicious and we had a couple cold drinks to go with it the atmosphere was casual and the staff was extremely friendly we will be going back as the food was
