This place is pretty tasty, today was up early and made the drive to the diner but it seems they don’t actually open up at 6am. Waited 20 mins assuming maybe staff was running late, but no one showed.

Been here on a few occasions, and I've been hit with really steep bills. Last Sunday 9/28, I ordered 2 scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, 2 slices of toast, grits and a coffee. My buddy got pancakes with sausages and an orange juice. Bill was $52 and change. Added tip and it topped $60- FOR BREAKFAST! The Brazilian lady who takes the orders doesn't give me an itemized receipt. She just shoves her electronic charging device in my face, showing the total and what tip amount I'd like to give. That right there is a red flag. I believe she overcharged me. I won't be back.

The place lost its charm. The grits were Tasteless, and the coffee was okay. The person behind the counter was not very responsive, although I was the only customer at 7:30 a.m. I grew up on the Key and was saddened to see an institution lose its service and charm. This was the second time in the past few weeks I have been disappointed. There will not be a third time. It was expensive, too.

Looks like an old Floridian bar inside with stools that go along the counter to the back. Service was great. They service beers for a good price around $4. The serve breakfast and pancakes 🥞 and 🥐 🍩. They only had about 4 different varieties. It’s a diner that’s been around for over 50 years and most servers are bilingual. Place is next to a nice high end market called the Golden Hog.

From the moment I walked in, the lady working there put a smile on my face. Her positive energy is contagious — you can see she does her job with real passion. The two young men were also incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was freshly prepared and tasted fantastic. Every bite felt made with care.
Absolutely recommend this place — great food, great atmosphere, and even better people!

It's a diner, with diner food and good service which is perfectly fine. But for a diner breakfast it is extremely overpriced which is unfortunate and I know it's most likely due to its location.

It was a unique experience, just learned that it’s a family business open since 1972 You can sit outside and inside, the food was great but did not wow me. If you want a simple breakfast this is the place for you. The staff was also very nice and welcoming. Would come back! ❤️

This was our first breakfast in Key Biscayne after a late night arrival. They greeted us warmly and enthusiastically. The tables appear to be for two, but they kindly arranged counter seating for our family of four. I was so impressed with how quickly the food was ready. My daughter loved the eggs and hashbrowns, and my son was fascinated by the juicer making fresh orange juice. Lovely place. Would definitely recommend!
