La Scala Italian Restaurant Reviews
This was our favorite restaurant in Key Biscayne. The owners are incredible. The food is top notch and influenced from Northern Italy. I loved the chicken parmigiana. However, believe it or not my favorite item was the key lime pie. I ate probably 20 pieces of key lime all through the Keys and they simply had the best.
La Scala is such a special place. The food is absolutely wonderful, the quality is amazing, and you can really feel the care and passion that goes into everything.

La Scala Italian Restaurant provides a warm and inviting Italian dining experience in Key Biscayne. The menu features delicious dishes such as the fettuccine bolognese and lobster ravioli, both praised for their rich flavors and generous portions. The service is described as comforting and friendly, making guests feel instantly welcome. The restaurant is a small, family-run place with a cozy atmosphere, though it may not have the most modern decor. Some reviews noted that the focaccia was dry and the salmon carpaccio lacked passion fruit dressing, but these were balanced by highly praised dishes like the snapper piccata, prepared super moist with an egg wash, and the Ossobucco Milanesa, highly recommended by diners. The wine selection is reasonably priced, adding to the overall positive experience. Despite occasional crowdedness, La Scala remains a charming spot known for excellent, flavorful food.
