This place is pretty tasty, today was up early and made the drive to the diner but it seems they don’t actually open up at 6am. Waited 20 mins assuming maybe staff was running late, but no one showed.
Been here on a few occasions, and I've been hit with really steep bills. Last Sunday 9/28, I ordered 2 scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, 2 slices of toast, grits and a coffee. My buddy got pancakes with sausages and an orange juice. Bill was $52 and change. Added tip and it topped $60- FOR BREAKFAST! The Brazilian lady who takes the orders doesn't give me an itemized receipt. She just shoves her electronic charging device in my face, showing the total and what tip...
Looks like an old Floridian bar inside with stools that go along the counter to the back. Service was great. They service beers for a good price around $4. The serve breakfast and pancakes 🥞 and 🥐 🍩. They only had about 4 different varieties. It’s a diner that’s been around for over 50 years and most servers are bilingual. Place is next to a nice high end market called the Golden Hog.
