A classic Florida Keys bar with a local flare that’s never been stamped out and thank goodness for that. Situated on the water with a view of the mangroves this place is off the beaten path or on the way somewhere depending on where you are in your life. We came here because we were jonesing for some conch and a cold beer. We ordered the conch fritter plate and the conch chowder. The conch fritter plate comes with two sides and neither disappointed, the potato salad was scrumptious, felt homemade. The macaroni salad was also delicious. Honestly, cannot complain about anything we had or experienced. Our waitress was lovely, the vibe was vibing, but I will say the mosquitoes were biting. They do provide off if you ask. So I did.

If this place is famous for their Conch fritters? They should just call it a Conch fritter! It came out as one huge glob of batter with bits of large size rubber bands from Office Max cut into little strips and added to the batter, just tourist trap crap! and only $18. lol. The peel and eat shrimp obviously came fresh from Vietnam and lukewarm and mushy! Don't stop here for the food, come for the atmosphere and excellent bartender!

Don't drink their tap water. They add chlorine to it. Also there drinks are over priced.

This place is a great hole in the wall. It has a no frills ambiance, but our server was fantastic. We had the legendary conch fritter. It is huge and so perfect, with tender conch and a sweet type of batter. If you are an uptight picky pants, move right along.

Tourist restaurant with sub parr food and high prices.. worst fish sandwich ever...do yourself a favor..Drive right by and try one of the really good restaurants on the way to Key West.
A must stop before driving to the Keys or just a day trip! Variety of menu items, live bands, full bar, and good views!

After looking at some one-star reviews of this restaurant, I was a little worried. However, after getting seated quickly, the experience was actually not bad. We ordered the conch fritters (supposedly the best), crab cakes, and spring rolls. The service was little slow but nice, and our food was brought to us in about 20 minutes. The portions were pretty big, and our group of 6 could barely finish the 6 dishes we ordered. The conch fritters were more like a conch cake, but nonetheless tasted good. The crab cakes and spring rolls were good and the food all tasted a bit sweet. The restrooms were not that dirty and the restaurant wasn’t that crowded. The atmosphere was okay, we were able to see a few fish and some boats. The only complaints I would have is that there was a bit too much filling in the all-fried food causing us to not be able to taste that much seafood, and the food was a bit oily. Also, there were a lot of small bugs.
Parking: Parking in the tow-away section is fine.
