We almost dismissed this small roadside restaurant, so glad we didn't! Amazing meal, the very best of our stay here in Key Largo. We can't wait to come again before we leave. Every bite was incredible, and the largest portions so far! You will not leave hungry.
My partner and I had boiled peanuts, stuffed mushrooms, sweet potato burger, Mahi (Hemingway style), sweet potato casserole, green beans, sweet tea and the Spiny Hop IPA. This was one of the best meals on our trip. We were truly blown away by the freshness of the greenbeans, the refreshing sweet tea, the fresh Mahi and the casserole. Our server was so sweet and attentive.
This place is fantastic. You do have to ask for the vegan menu, but it comes out and everything is clearly labeled. We had the Joe vs the volcano salad, black bean soup with grilled cheese, a side of mac & cheese, the coconut cake and the strawberry sorbet. It was a ton of food and all was delicious. Do not skip the cake or the sorbet. Ronnie was our server and a joyful human being. Lovely atmosphere. This place is a winner.
