Excellent restaurant, nice atmosphere, food was delicious, portions were enormous, well presented, servers were friendly. Prices were standard with the rest of restaurants. A very good experience.

The service was alright, but a bit slow, not friendly, and terrible on refilling our drinks. The flavor of the food was good; disappointed that they would bring out a sandwich sitting in a puddle of sauce (very soggy bread). The lobster & shrimp po boy had a decent flavor, but very little substance for the cost. The waffle fries were great!

Not a great experience. We went based on a recommendation from our airbnb host. The food was only okay and the cost super high (on par for this area though). All three of our meals came out incorrect. Not worth it. Great porch though!

We brought our own snapper and they cooked it up blackened and with the Key Lime butter sauce. We all agreed, it is the best fish we have had in the Keys!!! It was unbelievable!!Then we had the Chicken Piccata and Key Lime Chicken and it was SO good!! Hobos has elevated to our favorite dinner place down here. The outdoors is very nice, plenty of food, staff was great!!The creamed spinach was also delicious, and the Key Lime pie!!! We can't wait to go back!!

Our favorite place in the keys. Overall they have the best food while still not being over priced. We look forward to our next visit! I had the blackened Mahi Mahi quesadilla!

The staff is friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! The atmosphere was casual and relaxed which was nice. The entree’s my wife and I ordered filled our plates and didn’t cost me an arm and a leg! Our next trip to the Keys we will be stopping at Hobos again and you should too!

Off the charts great restaurant. Clean, updated casual restaurant. We had the Mahi fresh catch of the day - Key Lime Style with sautéed vegetables best seafood I have eaten over the last 2 years in Florida. Then we had the coconut shrimp basket with Cole slaw another fantastic meal. Our bartender/waitress couldn’t have been any better. She was very helpful & friendly. Can’t wait to go back!!

Where to start..... We went to Hobos for lunch. The menu was good with some enticing choices. I ordered the catch of the day, which was mahi mahi, cooked in their signature style, with black beans and rice. The dish was priced at $36, which I feel is a reasonable price for a high end lunch choice. As we waited for our food, we couldn't help but notice the ambiance of the restaurant was loud and not very intimate. It was more like a breakfast diner. I guess the menu does not match the atmosphere. My meal came and it looked delicious! Now, I like beans and rice, so I dug right into the plate of black beans and rice with a really tasty gravy like sauce on them. They would have been top notch if they had been hot. The beans had obviously been spooned onto the rice directly from the refrigerator, and then covered in a cold sauce, and microwaved. Personally, I don't feel there is a place for a microwave in a kitchen that is serving $36 lunch items. The fish was well cooked, hot and tasty. The server was busy, but never checked on us after we got our food for me to send the beans back, hence the three stars for mediocre service.I'll not be dining at Hobos again.
