Since it was too windy to go fishing, we went to the retail market and bought fresh yellowtail snapper filets and cooked them ourselves - they were great and the price was reasonable.
I wish I had more time to explore their menu. I didn’t know that they served lobster tail there. I would’ve loved to have tried that!
Extremely overpriced for the quality of the food. The lobster mac and cheese was extremely bland and had no flavor. The most expensive fish on the menu came in a tiny fillet that was unseasoned and bland. The sauce that came with the grouper was very good and helped to salvage the meal. Very disappointed with the food quality.
It's almost like the employees or the boss have never heard of customer service before. They all acted slightly hostile when my card declined and I was in the process of activating another one I've never used before. They managed to burn my burger after I asked for it to be medium. French fries were the bomb, though. Never coming back, but don't let my experience stop you from trying this place.
Great job bartender handled the bar with a smile other bartender came on never watched the bar stayed at service need two bartenders on duty lost alot of customers left even myself wanted to stay but couldn't get a drink
Great food, drinks and service! We went multiple times during our stay in Key Largo and each time we were treated like old friends. Get the stone crab!! Mustard sauce (and everything else) 10/10. Highly recommend!

Have been to this restaurant at least 10 times in the past 15 years or so and it has been perfect every single time. I love the matacumbe preparation with my favorite fish, the mahi mahi. Also, best key lime pie in the area.

I have to assume there has been a management change or that the kitchen staff has changed, as my recent experience was quite disappointing. The staff taking orders seemed rude and appeared to lack proper training and experience. The food was bland and served cold, both the conch fritters and coconut shrimp were excessively oily and lacked flavor. the Mahi fish fingers were thin strips and undercooked. “Did not appear to be mahi”Additionally, the restaurant and bar area lacked the vibrant atmosphere it once had. As locals, we find this very disappointing, and I can only imagine how tourists must feel. It's becoming embarrassing to recommend this place to anyone, or even to refer to it as a fishery.
