Perfect for the boomers!

Cheap prices and horrible food.

Aren't green beans supposed to be green?

Waiting for the food poisoning to kick in...

Avoid if you have taste buds!

We stopped here on our way into the keys excited to get our first fish of the trip. We ordered a fish sandwich, a fish platter and fish tacos. They were supposed to be mahi and yellowtail but more than likely tilapia or another cheap fish. The fish was super thin and anyone that eats mahi knows it’s thicker and it simply didn’t taste great. Unfortunately this is common practice in the seafood industry but to do it in the keys is unacceptable. My sister said the best thing about her meal was the sweet potato fries. I will say the mango salsa on my tacos was great but the sandwich bread was soggy. A bummer for our first fish of the trip, don’t come here if you want fresh catch. The outdoor patio is really cool and the staff is nice and quick.

Amazing chilanquiles! Tasty food, good portions, great service! I love that this is an authentic Mexican restaurant. Just what Key Largo needed!

We stopped in for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I got the Cuban sandwich and my wife got the buffalo chicken wrap and we both very much enjoyed it. It was all relatively inexpensive and was very good. The waitresses were very nice and on the ball. We will go here again.

Update:
One year later from my original review and Tony was my server again and just as amazing and kind. I have had him multiple times over many years. I have literally never eaten a bad meal here! Great service and relaxed atmosphere. Cheers
Food and service was amazing. Had blue crab soup and the Steak A La Mexicana... and was served by Tony. He was kind, checked in often and chill! Exactly what you want for a Keys waiter and Keys restaurant.

Great food. Shredded hash browns. Good breakfast. Nice sourdough toast. One complaint: no decaf coffee US or Cuban. No excuse. Ample parking. My 3 egg omelette with ham was delicious. $10.99 with all the sides.

Restaurant offers several options and everything we have eaten from there has been amazing! The staff is friendly and quick and the prices are better than I have seen anywhere for the food you get!
