If your taking the drive to Key West, this is absolutely a must stop. Off the beaten path, great vibe, and lizard friendly.

Family breakfast was fantastic. Food was delicious with a wide variety of choices. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was casual. The eight of us had a blast.

Key Largo’s Best-Kept Secret for Breakfast Bliss

Tucked away just off the main drag in Key Largo, there’s a little breakfast spot that doesn’t shout for attention—but once you find it, you’ll never forget it. This cozy breakfast house is the kind of place locals try to keep to themselves, and for good reason: the food is unreal.

From the moment you walk in, the vibe is laid-back Keys charm—bright, breezy, and welcoming. The coffee is strong and smooth (they know how to brew it right), and the smell of sizzling bacon and baked goods hits you like a warm hug.

But let’s talk about the food. The crab cake Benedict is out-of-this-world good—fresh, buttery crab with perfectly poached eggs and a tangy hollandaise that tastes homemade. The French toast is something you didn’t know you needed in your life—light, citrusy, and topped with a hint of powdered sugar and fresh berries. Even the classics like scrambled eggs, hash browns, corn beef hash and pancakes are done right—crispy edges, fluffy centers, and clearly made with care.

The service? Friendly, fast, and the kind where the server remembers your name and your coffee order after just one visit.

It’s the kind of place where time slows down, and breakfast feels like a treat instead of a routine. Whether you’re heading out for a day on the water or just looking for a peaceful start to your morning, this hidden gem is the perfect spot.

Fair warning: once you eat here, you’ll start planning your mornings around it. The best breakfast in Key Largo? Without question. Just don’t tell too many people—we’d like to keep this secret safe a little longer.

My husband and I went here for a late breakfast. We got biscuits and gravy, French toast, two orders of home fries, eggs and pancakes, all for $31. Everything was delicious, I think the home fries may be the best thing I've ever eaten.

This is an awesome gem, hidden in Key Largo. A great local restaurant, with local fare, and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this place. Conch fritters were fresh, hot and tender.

We’ve been stopping here for over 30 years on our Keys vacations and will continue to do so! Friendly staff, excellent food and a wonderful “Old Key Largo” atmosphere! It is an easy turn off US1 and will take no time off any destination you are going!!! Love all you do there!!!
