Little diner behind a dive marina. We ate there while our kids were working on their dive certifications. The food was so cheap and the service was fast!! Really delicious

Our first visit. Lovely lunch on the screened patio. Wife had a salad, I had a burger. Food was good, service was pleasant and punctual, prices were better than average. Very quaint little spot with a lovely atmosphere and good food. Fish fry Friday is apparently the bomb! Looking forward to trying it.

We had such a nice time at The Hideout Restaurant! This cozy spot is tucked away at the end of Shoreland Drive, and it feels like a hidden treasure in Key Largo. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, with a classic “Old Key Largo” charm that makes you feel right at home.

The food was absolutely delicious. I had the coconut shrimp—huge, perfectly crispy, and full of flavor—while my wife went for the all-you-can-eat fish special. Both came with generous sides like hush puppies, fries, baked beans, and even a conch fritter. Portions were hearty, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. They even threw in a drink with the meal, which was a nice touch.

Service was fantastic—our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made us feel like regulars. The view from the back porch seating is beautiful, and the whole vibe is relaxed and authentic. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy great food, and soak in the Keys atmosphere.

Great service but unfortunately the worst food we had in the US in the last 10 days, extra fried and heavy food..

Been coming here for years. The food is like I would make at home; it’s excellent. ☺️. We watched the Rasta/hat man grow from a newbie waiter to one who commands the room. He is spot-on. Cool warm kind of vibe, awesome food and impeccable wait staff. The sunrise is fabulous as well. We’ll always be back.

I’ve been going to this restaurant for many many years and watched it rebound from hurricanes, survive epidemics, renovations to the docks etc. and even enjoyed the coconut telegraph when it was available! I love the mom and Pop atmosphere and beautiful location. The food is always served with a smile and top notch for a reasonably priced locals style restaurant. Now under new ownership by the chef who has been there for years, the place has not lost its charm or culinary appeal!
