My friend and I had spent the day bouncing semi successfully from beach to beach and in our defeated state we needed to have something to replenish our spent bodies. In the distance, we saw an ominous black and yellow sign creeping up from over the horizon. Hesitantly, we crossed the threshold and were immediately greeted by the warm and wonderful staff. We sat in the booth closest to the grill—the smell of sizzling bacon and sausage filled our sinuses as we waited in anticipation.
Then our food arrived. Plate after plate laden with warm goodness, tantalizing us with the promise of nourishing our bodies and souls.
After eating, I walked out of this Waffle House a changed man. I offer my deepest apologies to any reader because I neglected to take a photo of our food in my haste to devour. This photo of a torn up blueberry waffle and the warm feeling in my belly is all I have left to remember this experience.
If I could give it 6 stars I would.

Unbelievably incompetent service at this waffle house. 5 other parties arrived after us, they ordered, ate, left before we even got our food. We were seconds away from throwing a 10 on the table to cover our coffee and leaving. Our server Stacy was horribly inattentive and we had to ask multiple times for coffee. I've never been to a Waffle House where the coffee doesnt hit your table within 5 minutes of you sitting down. As we were waiting for 40 minutes for our food we were watching servers standing around not doing anything while they waited to give their order to the single guy cooking. The coffee station pots were low, all 3 in my party were internally thinking "they should probably put another pot on, they are getting low." You know you're in a bad situation when your customers are thinking about what they could do differently to make the service run better/smoother. The guy cooking worked hard and did everything he was told in the order he was told to do it in- he was a Rockstar but he was surrounded by incompetence. We will never be back to this waffle house, I suggest you avoid it too.

Horrible service!! We waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order then another half hour to get the food and my husband’s ham and cheese omelet had NO ham in it and it was burnt! There were only 3 tables at the time and we spent an hour and half there and never got a drink refill either!! Worst Waffle House ever and we eat a lot of Waffle House!
