On vacation in the keys and my son wanted to try fishing. We stopped into this shop looking for tackle. The staff were more than welcoming and very helpful. They put us on the right gear to use to catch fish. They also gave my son a tour of the live baits they sell. Amazing place, if you’re in the area I highly recommend you stopping in there!

Price? Very fair, Quality? Mediocre. Stopped by to grab live shrimp and was fooled. While getting our shrimp the bait attendant showed us some shrimp and told us they’re a little small and asked if that was fine. Once I started fishing I quickly realized that these shrimp were extremely small compared to what we were shown. The shrimp gradually got smaller, many being no more than 1 inch. Additionally, many of the shrimp were dead and already decomposing. I can justify this if the bait was being scooped into the bucket but the bait attendant was hand picking them out of his net and counting them individually. Would not recommend this place for live shrimp but they had a good variety of frozen baits.
