Make sure to ask if the lobster being served is fresh and locally sourced. Do not assume. We found out after our meal, when the server was talking to the table next to us that the lobster was from Mexico (so most likely frozen before preparation).

Hands down, by far, one of the best dining experiences we ever had. From the food, the service to the atmosphere. So so wonderful! Beautiful speakeasy vibe. Bathrooms were impeccable. Our server, DeeDee, was so pleasant and professional. Thank you!

Great view of the marina for dinner. Service was great as was the food. The speakeasy, Berlin's is connected to and owned by the restaurant and offers up great pre-dinner cocktails as well.

Great harbour view from balcony. Food was great, service attentive . Stars deducted because the server took my husbands plate away while I was still eating ! Not even nearly finished ! 🙈 No wet towels /wipes offered or available, even after handling shrimp. 😳😱 Another server kindly brought me a wet serviette . Could be brilliant, if basics applied.....

First time at A B Lobster. There is a great choice of seating inside and outside. The wait staff are very well knowledgeable on the menu and offer great choices as suggestion. The food was very well prepared and served promptly. The food was very tasteful. Great place for family, dates and business meetings.

The beautiful setting of being located right on the water, matches the exceptional food. Make sure to order the escargot and lobster starter and do not miss the lobster risotto!

Great appetizers and service. The filet mignons were overcooked and bland. Snapper was also bland and lacked excitement. Crabcakes were good. Overall service was outstanding and food was mediocre.

We visited A&B Lobster House during a staff retreat and had a great experience. The food and service were both excellent, and the setting was perfect for a formal group dinner. Natasha was great to work with making the evening feel special with the thoughtful details and the service from Stephen. Highly recommend!

We were Key West two weeks ago celebrating our 35 Wedding Anniversary. My husband made reservations at another restaurant, I wanted to be surprised. We got to the other place and we're VERY disappointed by just the atmosphere when we walked in. We had asked our concierge to recommend a really nice place for this special evening. We wanted three things for sure. Lobster and steak, Lobster Bisque, and a view of the water. We got there and NO table with a view. The menu came and it had NO Lobster anywhere on the menu. We left.. Pretty upset because it's our anniversary. But the concierge there(it was at a hotel)helped us and we found an even better place! We ended up at A & B Lobster House and let me tell you from the second we walked in we were extremely impressed! Greeted immediately!! The whole vibe was amazing! Great atmosphere! They had our reservation and we were facing the water at Sunset! Amazing! We were quickly greeted by Nicholas who would be our server for the evening!! Fantastic customer service! Polite, funny, and ok new the menu perfectly! Our meal started with the Lobster Bisque, divine! I had a martini and my husband had their special Old Fashioned both did not disappoint! For our main course I had the Grouper and he had the Steak and Lobster both were cooked perfectly and we ate every bite. Nicholas checked on us several times throughout the meal and took a very nice photo for our Anniversary! Then he surprised us with a special dessert of their in house homemade Key Lime Pie!! Soooo good! Overall and absolutely amazing experience and they really made our Anniversary dinner so special! Highly recommend!!2

We recently celebrated a very special occasion, my one-year Heart and Kidney Transplant anniversary with family at A&B Lobster House in Key West, and it could not have been more perfect.
We arrived early and enjoyed lovely cocktails at the bar with Danny, who was not only friendly and welcoming but also a truly knowledgeable and skilled bartender. He set the tone for a wonderful evening.
When our party was seated, we were lucky to have Didi as our server. Her service was nothing short of exceptional, attentive, warm, and professional throughout the entire meal.
As for the food; phenomenal doesn’t even begin to cover it. Two absolute standouts were the Lobster Thermidor, which was rich, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, and the Strip Steak au Poivre, which was exceptionally tender, juicy, and full of bold, peppery flavor. Every bite melted in your mouth.
The atmosphere was just as impressive. With its beautiful waterfront view, A&B offers a stunning backdrop for a special evening. Watching the boats in the harbor as the sun sets adds a magical touch to the dining experience. It’s always a lovely option when in Key West.
