we were very much looking forward to eating here but it unfortunately did not live up to our expectations. Luke warm welcome, but very friendly server. But appetisers and mains were disappointing. Lobster thermidor was more mushroom than Lobster and lobster was dry and chewy. My wife's chowder was OK. And the guy removing the plates didn't smile once!

A&B Lobster House is one of the very best restaurants in Key West and an awesome place to celebrate special occasions. We celebrated our mom's 89th birthday with them and they staff mad it very special!! And of course the food was wonderful. This is a can't miss place for a special occasion or just a special evening with friends, family and for business associates.

The food and service were outstanding at A&B Lobster House! Our only “complaint” is that it was pretty noisy. They clearly have tried to minimize this, but it was still hard for my husband and I to have a conversation during dinner. I would still encourage you to go if you're looking for great food and service in a cool, somewhat historic place. The many people eating there was true testimony to how good it is!

Our extended family of 10 highlighted these as our favorites on the menu. Lobster Risotto, Oysters Rockefeller, Lobster Thermidor. Bananas Foster. Steaks weren’t special. Stick to the seafood. And the atmosphere is great!

Food was tasteless and unseasoned! I got the shrimp and scallop dish and my husband got the tuna-which he sent back bc it was bland. My seafood was good, but the accompanying steamed veggies and sauces were totally unseasoned. And verrry expensive. My daughter fortunately likes the shrimp fettuccine.
