I dine here weekly, sometimes multiple times per week....yes, it's THAT good!!!But it's not just the meatballs, bruschetta, and mozzarella....Service with Coco, Nissa, and Carlos is what makes this place truly tick.....The music is old school Rat Pack, the ambiance is candlelit dark, quiet, seductive and romantic....hard to find in the Key West party atmosphere!!!20 year Port wine and chocolate cannolies after dinner bring the entire "experience" to a climactic finish!!!Parking: Paid street parking.....it's Key WestKid-friendliness: Sure you can bring the kids but c'mon people, everyone knows Key West is NOT a kid friendly environment. PLEASE leave the kids at home.... Preferably in another state!!!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
We decided to try the spot because it was around the corner from our hotel in Key West and it kept calling to us. On our last night there, we couldn't resist any longer and decided to give it a try. We were absolutely not disappointed. You may not think of Italian fare when you go to Key West but if you’re in the mood for something different after lots of seafood, highly recommend Abbondanza. The atmosphere is moody and dark so it’s perfect for a date night. The menu isn’t overly large, but there is a lot of traditional Italian dishes, and some seafood inspired ones as well. We had great service, and everyone at the table loved every single item we ordered. The chickenmarsala, the spaghetti and meatballs, the sausage and peppers, steamed clam appetizer was a hit with their delicious bread. We were too full to eat dessert but cannot recommend this highly enough if you are craving something Italian while in Key West.

Perfect. Food, service, ambiance, people. I love this place. They care about fresh herbs and spices and use them! Vegetables are perfectly prepared with the perfect spices, herbs, never overcooked or ugh mushy. My favorite restaurant in Key West.

Very disappointed by this restaurant where it was frankly bad and what's more we were served with a slingshot because we arrived at 8:30 p.m. which is late for Americans who eat at 5 p.m.…Plus they don't take Apple PayIn short, go your way

We were in Key west back in December 2023 for vacation and wanted a romantic dinner after having our engagement pictures taken at Fort Zachary Taylor and this WONDERFUL place delivered! The food was AMAZING! Portions were large enough to have left overs the next day (and still amazing!) The restaurant was beautifully decorated and provided the romantic atmosphere we were hoping for. It completed a perfect day! Thank you to the staff for everything it was perfect and we can wait to come back!
Great service and the food was delicious, so far the best Italian restaurant in Key WestFrancesko from Argentina was great with the service, he also welcomed us in our language, "Albanian"!

Service was so so. watched the waiter carry on a long conversation with another table while we didn't even give our order or even ordet our drinks. the manicotti was weird. it was made parmigiana style which I've never seen before and kind of takes away from the lightness of the macaroni and hides the ricotta inside. overall not too impressed.

Ordered dinner for 4. First drinks no olives in the martinis. App I got mozzarella and tomatoes dry with no olive oil had to dip in bread dressing. Every dinner was over seasoned with oregano. Horrible taste that lasted all night. Cant believe that this place is rated one of the best. I guess being from nj I have higher expectations but this was bad. Get it together.
