Our plan was to have a lovely early dinner and unfortunately that didn't happened. We ordered raw and baked oysters that were delicious. We wanted to order entrees but the bar staff ignored us in favor of chatting with other guests. We requested the check, paid and went elsewhere.
First, we've been in Key West for a week, eating out twice a day everyday. Sean, our server at Alonzo's, was the best server we have had at any of the restaurants we've been too. Attentive but not hovering. Friendly and relatable. Made excellent recommendations. Can't speak highly enough for him. The food was yummy and unique. We had the crab and shrimp dip for an app and the snapper sandwich for dinner. It was delicious. Connor served us at the bar and he made great drinks. Definitely will be returning on my next trip to the keys.
