We stopped here for lunch because we were on the hunt for a grouper sandwich. Unfortunately they were sold out of grouper but the nice lady working the register recommend the fried Tilefish sandwich and it was delicious! We also tried the grilled mahi mahi tacos which we thought could use a good sauce or dressing for the slaw instead of the salsa, guac, and sour cream they provided but that is also personal preference. We also tried the key lime lemonade and that was amazing and so refreshing!
The service was great and came out fast. It was slightly off putting to see the chickens digging through the trash as we were eating but the baby chickens were super cute.
Before coming here I saw some google reviews that said they are cash only but they are no longer! You can pay with cash or card.

All the restaurants were a 1 1/2 hour wait. Had great conversation with the lady behind the counter about the Key West community. Took the food back to the rental and it was great. Shrimp basket and conch fritters. Highly recommend.

We visited B.O.’s Fish Wagon because we appreciate laid-back, quirky places and have happily eaten in some very no-frills establishments over the years. Unfortunately, this felt less like intentional rustic charm and more like neglect. The dining area was dirty with visibly dry-rotted benches. Chickens were freely walking across sticky tables, and we noticed bird droppings on the tables. It raised real concerns about cleanliness and food safety, which made it hard to enjoy the experience. As for the food, it was underwhelming. The Key West shrimp was overcooked and tough, and the sandwich roll was cold and unremarkable. Given the overall condition of the space, we found ourselves genuinely worried about food handling and quality control. We understand that the rough-around-the-edges aesthetic is part of the appeal, but there’s a difference between rustic and unsanitary.

Went specifically for the grouper sandwich and unfortunately found it lacking in flavors for my taste. It did come hot and fast. We also had the shrimp platter which were small and only 7 of them. Overall disappointing for how much they charge. It really is a hole in the wall dive place. Sorry, Not my favorite

WOW! Our B&B host recommended this spot for lunch while we waited on our room to be ready. So glad we listened! You definitely feel like you’re eating at a local spot here and you totally are. We had the mahi-mahi tacos and black beans & rice. Incredibly delicious and so fresh. I told my husband I could eat there every day.

Epitome Key West vibe. No frills. First visit the board had updates of what was in/out of stock. I wanted fish of the day, tacos which was available. Hit the spot & not too insane for what I got. No frills, but we'll accompaniments. Fries a little sparse, but in the heat, I like eating light. The tacos were 🤤🤤🤤 So impressed took a friend 2 days later & same delicious food. Blackened grouper 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 So worth the convenient stop. GO! Supports the Conch Republic as Buddy is a freakinglegend.
