Love the eclectic shabby vibe of this place. Seating is bare bones picnic table. Order at counter. Everything served on paper products, canned Pepsi products, and fresh lemonade for drinks. Cost for what you get is expensive. Fried shrimp and fish are approximately $27 an entree so it can be a pricy lunch. However, it’s worth the stop for the experience and to support small local business.
This was once one of our favorite places. Post Covid, the food has declined to the point that we won't be going back. The conch sandwich used to consist of a slab or two of delicately cooked conch meat. This time, it was heavily breaded, overcooked strips of conch. Not impressive. The fries that used to be "to die for " were warm at best and rather soggy." The shrimp tacos were dry and not very meaty. We had shrimp tacos at Two Friends and they were infinitely...
We loved this little fish shack. Shared a fish sandwich featuring blackened yellowtail snapper, which was the catch of the day. The fish was really fresh and was served on delicious crusty Cuban bread. Also split an order of fries that were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. And a tasty glass of cold lemonade that really hit the spot on a hot day. You place your order at the counter, and then they bring the food to your table when it's ready.
