Best time to dine, not too crowded and service is exceptional.. the manager always checking in on customers with a smile and enthusiasm. The staff is magnificent, caring, knowledgeable and very friendly .. my family always looks forward to dining every time we visit the Keys

So we visited this location a couple weeks again and the food was perfect. We came back again two weeks later and ordered the same exact thing and it was way off from our last visit. We both ordered the trio with extra mushrooms and I ordered extra chicken fried rice. The cook never put garlic butter or seasoning on my steak, I recieved a total of 4 small little pieces of chicken and the over all I truly feel we didn't get near the food we got last time at this same exact location. We had an absolute horrible experience at the Orlando location and after coming here it changed my mind completely because the food being so good. This time however I was disappointed because of the amount of money I spent and what I was expecting from last experience at this location to this experience we had on Friday. I get that are different cooks and that is great however the consistency just was not there. The staff itself was great and I believe the lady manager on duty was awesome too at this location. We are not picky people either but when you're spending 150 dollars on dinner for 2 people you kinda expect great service and great food. Anyways that is just my opinion. Thank you.

We recently visited this Japanese steakhouse in Key West, and while there were some highlights, overall it fell short of expectations. The food itself was good, and our server was excellent—friendly, attentive, and very helpful throughout the meal. However, the wait time was frustrating. Even though we had a reservation, we waited over an hour before the chef finally came out to start cooking. That long of a delay really takes away from the experience, especially when dining with hungry teens. There were also some unexpected extra charges. Unlike most hibachi restaurants, this one does not include fried rice as a standard part of the meal—it costs an additional $6.50 per person. On top of that, they wouldn't allow any substitutions, so when our teens wanted extra rice instead of vegetables, it simply wasn't an option. At other hibachi places we've visited, those kinds of swaps are usually no problem. Because of the long wait and the extra costs for things that are typically included elsewhere, this will be a restaurant we skip on future trips to Key West.

The food was ok. Though everything tastes alike. The service was good. The chef is good at showmanship and humor. The problem is you are eating food that is consistent with any other oriental restaurant in town. Maybe one star food at three star pricing. So I guess what you're really paying for is the experience. Which, btw, has not varied in over 20 years. It will be a long time before I consider dining here again.
