I came for one of my favorite fish sandwiches on the island. It was cooked great but the server Dea was terrible. Look at my history, I rarely give bad reviews. I am so disappointed to the point I don't even want to finish my meal. 30 Dollars well spent. I tipped the cook, Edgar, 5x as much as the server because I appreciated him and his service. I hope he sticks around because we need more people like him.

Now in a tent by the Marina. They have closed the rest/ poolside cafe to be remodeled. It closed while we were there. Minimal staff n choices

The food was ok. I Thought the price of a lobster roll was a little pricey. I went with a group. It was a place they wanted to meet at. The waiter seemed like he was always in a hurry. Except for our table. Barely acknowledged you when you talked to him. So you couldn't tell if he heard you or not. If I had a choice it's not a place I would go back to.

Bistro 245 is a fantastic choice for a team dinner! The upscale ambiance and delicious menu perfectly complemented our evening after a long day of drone training. The staff was attentive and accommodating, ensuring our group felt welcomed and well-cared for. The fresh seafood options were exceptional, and the wine selection was impressive. Bistro 245 provided the perfect setting for relaxation, good food, and great company. We highly recommend this restaurant for a memorable dining experience.
Update: Returned again July '24, and I remembered why I didn't like it the last time. Stopped at the downstairs bar late morning, and the less than friendly bartender seemed like we bothered him while he chopped up his lemons and limes. But the disgusting mold and mildew on the walls behind the bar are both unappetizing, unhealthy, and probably a violation of the health code. After my last review a few months ago, I wonder if the management even pays any attention.
Dec. '23: Upper bar is shabby and run down, broken fan hanging from ceiling. Bartenders polite, but not very friendly. If it wasn't for the sunset, they'd have nothing.

If you are in a hurry, this place is not for you. The service was the worst that we experienced in the whole week spent in Key West. They were slow to greet, take order, bring food, check and didn't apologize for any of it! Don't plan on a view after 10:00 am as a cruise ship pulls up and blocks the water view! The food was OK! I would not recommend Bistro 245!

Inside was comfortable, not too hot or cold. Food was terrific, service was Great! Had a great view of the Sunset. With many dining options in Key West, We'll still come back.

I recently attended a wedding reception at Bistro 245, located at the Opal Key West, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. With a small group of friends, we experienced top-notch service and delicious food in a stunning setting.
For my meal, I started with a Caesar salad that was crisp and flavorful, the perfect way to kick off the evening. The highlight, however, was the shrimp and lobster fettuccine—an absolutely delicious dish that was both rich and perfectly balanced. To cap off the night, we shared a piece of coconut cake that was simply divine.
From start to finish, the experience at Bistro 245 was outstanding. The staff was attentive, the ambiance was beautiful, and the food was truly exceptional. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a great meal in Key West, Bistro 245 is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Service was ok. The waitress left us too long a few times. The view is beautiful, but the lobster and shrimp were tough. I did not spend that much on lobster to have to tear off the parts that were too chewy or hard to eat. The lobster and shrimp in my husband's dish were the same.
