We came with our dog and the server greeted us immediately and brought our pup a bowl of water. She was very friendly and provided very good service. The ambience was cool.and the guitar player was good. However, the food was probably the worst meals we've had at a restaurant. The fish in the fish and chips was really fishy and super greasy and the Cuban sandwich was dry and rock hard. The fries on both dishes were soggy. So great service, great atmosphere and horrible food.
I am a local and wanted my guests to experience the charm of Rams Head. Despite making reservations over two weeks ago we were seated inside (and not able to enjoy the beautiful patio). We were offered the choice to wait 30 minutes for an outside table but what's the point of a reservation?? There was an empty table outside that could have accommodated us. If the party who reserved THAT available table was not there, then why couldn't we have taken it?? Help me understand...
Good was great and service was quick. Live music was good as well. Coming from MD we made sure to stop in and support a business with Maryland roots. Get the crab dip, you won't regret it.
