My wife and I absolutely love Cafe Marquesa! From the sincere warm greetings when you walk in and the sincere "hope to see you back soon", we've never had anything but an amazing experience. That's what Cafe Marquesa gives you, a true dining experience. The two of us enjoy "a journey for our tastebuds" and usually work our way through about 5 to 6 appetizers and finish with dessert. Our most recent visit, we had the pleasure of having Sophia as our server. She was extremely nice, professional, knowledgeable and fun! Thom, the Restaurant Manager, ensured that each course was to our liking, and was also very personable and enjoyable to talk to. Chef Lee. Wow. We ordered our 5 appetizers and told Sophia to have Chef course out the appetizers however he felt best. Not only was each dish phenomenal, but he personally delivered each one, fully explained each dish, and each one was OUTSTANDING! Kudos to the entire team at Cafe Marquesa!! We'll be back soon!

Outstanding meal at Marquesa. The tuna tatami appetizer was great. Seared scallop special and seared duck entree were fantastic. Our server was attentive and fun. A great experience.

We've visited Key West for several years in a row and have always wanted to try the restaurant. We finally ate here last night and we were absolutely blown away. Everything was amazing: the food was phenomenal, and every staff member was incredibly kind and helpful. 11/10, we'll definitely be back!
We were celebrating my girlfriend's birthday with her mom and friends. The whole experience was great from our greeting to the specialty drinks to the wonderful dinner to the desserts! The beignets were next level! Key lime pie also great. Stephanie, our server, was fun and engaging. I would highly recommend the Cafe Marquesa, you won't be disappointed!

Overall it was good but the chef needs to season the food, lacked flavor overall. The other disappointing thing was they asked us if we were celebrating anything and we were which was our Anniversary. They wrote something on our to go bag.....a nice gesture I guess but most places would have given you a free dessert or something

From the host upon entering, to the stunning waitstaff, to the manager who brought such smiles to our hearts and faces, and then of course the incredible executive chef who came over and was so interested in listening and modestly sharing her wisdom....the entire evening was beyond a treat....I felt like I was in someone's gorgeous home and being taken care of on an individual level. I memory we will carry with us for certain. Thank you to every detailed and immaculate experience conveyed through food and hospitality. Best restaurant I have been to I think in my life for all those reasons. We appreciate every tiny nuance (the busser was so discreet and professional and that brought me such joy). We had the osso buco and the halibut...perfection. The beignets were beyond, beyond....Thank you so much again.

Our server was also fantastic: friendly, attentive, and made the experience even more enjoyable. Our only complaint was the volume of the music. It was so loud that it made it difficult to carry on conversations at our own table, which took away from the otherwise lovely atmosphere. It almost felt intentional, as if to encourage quicker turnover—which feels disappointing given the higher price point and the effort clearly put into the dining experience. We'd love to return, but we hope the ambiance will match the quality of everything else next time.
