It's been 15 years since we visited and you still can't get any better than this in Key West! Patricia was an amazing server, the hog fish is always off the charts, we loved the lobster bisque and key lime and pecan chocolate pies, so amazing, thank you! We may sneak back before we leave The Keys!
Wonderful dinner and friendly and professional service by Kelsey. So good, we are coming Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day and several more times between holidays!
Lobster bisque was watery and had no pieces of lobster. The “house special “ fish was dry, but in a tasty red bell pepper hollandaise sauce. The place only serves beer and wine. I would not go back!
The service was great, the food was delicious, and we consistently have a great experience every time we visit.
Perfect date night spot, romantic, quiet, small and cozy. Food was excellent the duck and hogfish are a must. Save room for dessert as the selection is yummy. Off the usual DUVAL st. It’s worth the extra walk or uber.

The food was amazing! The atmosphere was great! will definitely recommend and will go back when in Key West.
This is our favorite restaurant in Key West. We always come here. The food is spectacular. The service is excellent. We think it is the very best restaurant in Key West. Our vacation here would not be complete unless we had dinner at at Café Sole.
A fantastic dining experience, as usual. This time we shared the delicious saganaki appetizer to start, then had the Hogfish (which more than lives up to the hype!) and shrimp scampi. All were perfectly prepared, fresh and tasty. Portion sizes are good and the sides with the hogfish are clearly more than an afterthought to fill the plate. Though full after our meals, we couldn't help but have something sweet and the sampler trio fit the bill. Our server Alan was friendly, efficient and clearly a professional. All in all a lovely evening!
Lovely dining experience. Patricia did an excellent job serving us. The best lobster bisque I've ever had!!! The key lime pie is a must try!

We love going to Café Soleil. Without a doubt the most consistent restaurant in Key West. Our servers is incredible. Alan goes way beyond.the call of duty to make sure everything is great. If you're not local, you need to try you'll love it. The Hog Fish is fabulous
This is the third or fourth year in a row that we've gone back to Cafe Sole on Labor Day weekend. Food and service are ALWAYS outstanding. Alan was an excellent, very experienced server. The hogfish snapper is great! Cafe Sole also facilitated receipt and serving of a birthday cake from Key West Cakes which was outstanding as well. First choice every time.
Very pleased with my recent dining experience here. Very romantic atmosphere with a rose on the table, pillows on booths and lower lighting.
The lobster bisque was the best I’ve ever had. I used the complimentary bread they gave to dip in my soup. We also ordered the artichoke aphrodisiac appetizer and it was a 9.5/10, it was a whole artichoke and seasoned wonderfully.
We ordered the jumbo diver scallops and duck ‘a l’orange entrees. The scallops were cooked perfectly, tender and buttery. The duck was crispy, moist, and a half duck portion. The only side I was not too fond of were the Lima beans, but that’s just my preference.
We wanted the crème brûlée dessert, but the waitress, I forget her name but she told us she was from Poland, recommended we try the Key Lime Pie or chocolate pecan pie instead. We ordered the sampler which gave us a mini portion of the crème brûlée, key lime pie and pecan pie. The creme brulee was very thick and one of my least favorites I’ve ever had. The key lime and pecan made up for it though. I would go back just to order those desserts, they were superb. The pecan pie came with a side of ice cream (a la mode) and it was super tasty.
They have a huge wine selection and we chose a red blend bottle to share. It was a hot day when we went and we were sat outside, the humidity played a factor a bit, so next time I may request a table inside.
I am a local and can’t wait to go back here again to try other dishes. I want to try a pasta dish and also their famous hogfish snapper sole that our friends recommended.
