The best beef empanada in the whole wide world! The crust is light and flaky and has a good crunch where the edges are crimped. The ground beef filling is perfectly seasoned and moist without being greasy. The con leche is the best I’ve had on the island. A perfect balance of frothy coffee, milk and sugar. It’s fun to sit outside the order window and watch the activity on Simonton. And the owner is a good soul who made me feel very welcome here.

Love this local spot for a grab and go Cuban coffee and empanada! The owner was so kind and friendly, the second day on- he knew exactly what we wanted and remembered us each day. Made sure we liked what we had - and we did.. we loved it!!! Do not miss this place!

Cuban food and coffee. We heard about this place from guests staying at our hotel. They mentioned the coffee is like rocket fuel, they weren't wrong ?. Great coffee and food, but be prepared to wait a few minutes for your order, but it's worth the wait.

We grabbed a couple of sandwiches here for the road on our way out of Key West. I hadn't yet gotten a Cuban, and I'm glad we picked Cafelito for it. The Cuban was delicious, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her Cuban Mix. Definitely will come back here next time we're in Key West.
