Cakes By Karol is absolutely amazing!! We chose her for our destination wedding in Key West and she was nothing but Great from her professionalism to her amazing cake! Everyone said it was the best wedding cake they have ever tasted! It was the wedding cake of my Dreams! I would highly recommend Cakes By Karol for a delicious and beautiful cake!!

I’ve been meaning to write this review but I am “those people” that barely write any review regardless how good any place can be lol. Soooo this review is only but honest and left to said so looooong overdue. I truly hope my review would be helpful to future brides out there having a destination wedding in Key West that don’t know much about the places and what not like myself at the time. We’re a couple from New York and I was planning my own destination wedding (even thought I had a planner) but I wanted things a certain way, “the bride way/ bride vision”you know what I mean?! So, I thanked the internet in my searches and found Cakes By Karol. Well searching and looking at the reviews; isn’t fun at all but of what they offered, we’ve definitely clicked! We had our wedding at the breathtaking Hemingway House so my fiancé and I at the time had an specific vision as we chose to have the so called regular wedding cake and the groom’s cookie cake… and so magic happened. The looks and flavors we chose were delicious and was made exactly as our wish that our guests were left wanting more, us included! lol They made sure (with pictures) the cakes projected my vision exactly and I had my “Oh, gosh” moment that it looked so gorgeous on the outside and later so delicious in the inside, it was just so beautiful when I saw the pics confirming our vision… what a moment…no words for me/us, but only perfect. * pics attached. A BIG Thank You to Cakes By Karol for creating such a tasty and stunning cake for our special day! We will definitely be coming back for more in the future such as our anniversary!! <3

Cakes by Karol is amazing and worth every penny. We had our wedding back in November and Karol made the cake process extremely stress free. The cake was phenomenal and tasted just perfect. Even during the cake tasting she made some suggestions after our initial choice and we’re glad we listened to her. She is a true professional and artist. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her as your next choice for a wedding cake!!! Don’t go anywhere else. She is the one!

My wedding cake was the perfect wedding cake!! It was exactly what I wanted!! Cakes by Karol customer service was excellent. They kept me updated on everything and worked with the venue to get the cake delivered and we did not have to do anything. I highly recommend them!!

The cake was beautiful but the icing was super sweet and cake not moist. Expensive to rent stand $85 and delivery $85 in the small city of key west. This was after I emailed that we did not want a sweet icing, we wanted a creamy buttery icing ?

Cakes by Karol is amazing. She was so attentive to detail. Very quick to respond to emails and super friendly. She was able to accommodate last minute our 3 cake toppers. The cake was mouth watering delicious and her talent is through the roof. If we have any other special occasions in key west that needs a cake, she will forever be my go to.

Very accommodating business. You tell them what you want and they’ll get it done (for a price of course). It’s always a gamble when it comes to taste. I had a cake done professionally last year for my daughters birthday in cape cod and it was trash, so I was praying this was edible. Luckily we could actually eat a birthday cake this year! Definitely pricey, but I know nothing about cake making. Overall they came through on my daughters birthday and that’s all I could ask for. Even delivered to Latitudes on a separate island. Thank you, again. (For those that need to know the cake we got was dense and rich and sweet, but that’s all I’ll say about that)

Planning a destination wedding in 3 months was stressful. Cakes by Karol made the wedding cake process fun! We ordered the cake tasting kit to be delivered to us in NYC. My now husband and I loved getting to try the different combinations of cakes, icing, and filling. We decided on the key lime cake, raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream. So good!! The wedding cake itself was gorgeous and exactly what I envisioned. We were able to pick from several cake stands and really loved the one we picked. Highly recommend! Thank you!
