This is our first visit to Key West. We visited several bars, but by far Dons’ Place is our recommended drinking establishment of choice. Angus, Dougie, Dave, and each person that was in the bar was super friendly. It made our visit there memorable. Anytime we go to Key West Dons’ Place will be our go to.

Dive bar that catered to locals. Cheapest drinks on the whole island. Never overcrowded. Indoor and outdoor bars. Spent $22 for 4 rum drinks! Pool tables inside, ping pong and cornhole outside. Very friendly locals that can give you tips and advice on what to do on the island.

I hate to negatively review a place because of one person, but what’s a good bar if the bartender is rude and dismissive? And to a local at that? Plenty of other great dive bars in town to bother going back to Don’s place. Sorry.
Bartender at the tiki bar was rude and made us cash out our tab and told us to leave along with our friends because our friends entered the parking lot in the wrong entrance. Supposed to be a local bar for tourists but this bartender had no patience or calm demeanor in dealing with tourists. There is no one way signage at the road so if you’re a tourist, do not know about the one way entrance and you drive into this parking lot incorrectly, you will be denied service at the tiki bar by this bartender. She immediately ran out to the parking lot to yell at our friends. If Erica was working, 100% wouldn’t have been treated this way. Tourists, pick a different bar. There’s 100 to choose from.
