Douglas is the best bartender on planet earth. The last time I stopped in he washed my feet and blessed every beer he opened for me. I was severely ill when I walked in, and 100% cured and smelling great the next morning. One time Douglas gave me half of his sandwich. I'm pretty sure Douglas always has clean socks, and he always pushes his shopping kart (trolley) back to the designated shopping kart return hole. What a great guy.

Best key west bar on the island. Take it from a old conch who has seen and done it all. There are so many amazing bartenders on the island and Dons has some of the best. Id youre lucky enough to be there when Dougie is working you are in for a treat. Dougie is by far my favorite bartender on the island. Attentive to all and always ready for a good-natured funny retort to anything you toss his way. This is the closest thing you can find to the cheers bar on TV if you're an island dweller. Long live Dons Place and Dougie, Chelsea, Angus, and all the other wonderful bartenders that make this little bar feel bigger than life. Ill see you at Dons. Cheers 🍻

This is our first visit to Key West. We visited several bars, but by far Dons’ Place is our recommended drinking establishment of choice. Angus, Dougie, Dave, and each person that was in the bar was super friendly. It made our visit there memorable. Anytime we go to Key West Dons’ Place will be our go to.

This is the worst bar for Bills fans. I just went there to check it out before game day and they absolutely hate the Bills. All I heard about was wide right. 13 seconds and how Miami is better than the Bills. Please do not go there if you are expecting a welcomed atmosphere for Bills fans.
