Dive bar that catered to locals. Cheapest drinks on the whole island. Never overcrowded. Indoor and outdoor bars. Spent $22 for 4 rum drinks! Pool tables inside, ping pong and cornhole outside. Very friendly locals that can give you tips and advice on what to do on the island.
After partying on Duval the 1st couple of nights we needed to find a dive bar that is like what we we're used to at home and we found it in Don's Place. We went there 2 night's in a row and in less than an hour had made news friends and felt accepted by the locals. I know that can be difficult sometimes so we it didn't go unnoticed. My first time at Dons' Place was with my friend Herb Diegl with Universal Medical Lasers in 2000 and I was very impressed with the bar and the owners, Don & Don. I had a great time spending time there indulging in my favorite beverages and their great food.
