Duffy’s has a VERY talented chef. The food is spectacular. We come every year we’re here, the best meal we had in Key West. The service is amazing, Janis is absolutely wonderful.

Intimate and charming! Duffy s is right around from where we stayed. I looked at the menu our first day in Key West but saved it for our last meal and it was worth the wait!
I got the surf and surf with lobster and filet. The steak melted in my mouth and it was perfectly cooked medium. It was seasoned well and the bearnaiss sauce added an extra touch of class.
My husband had the tenderloin tips in teriyaki. He liked it so well he wanted to save some for a snack.
Our server was beyond excellent and the prices we very reasonable for a classy dinner. It was the perfect ending to our Key West vacation.

Best stake in Key West!! Will be back.

Fastest service I’ve experienced, the food was flavorful and delicious. I was not expecting to leave so satisfied. My husband got a Newyork strip steak (medium) and a baked potato. I ordered a baked potato and chicken fettuccini (I’m pregnant). The lobster bisque soup was 10/10 came with the meal!

Oh my goodness! The atmosphere and the flavor of everything from the lobster bisque, fresh bread, the lobster and the filet mignon cooked to perfection… you HAVE to eat here! We ate past the point of fulfillment just because it was beyond amazing! Definitely will tell everyone to stop and eat to their hearts are content (which won’t take long haha)!

My husband & I ordered steaks and lobster. His Ribeye came smothered In teriyaki and with reason it was terrible. I ordered the Surf and Turf my steak was absolutely disgusting it had 0 flavor. The lobster was like eating rubber. For over $100 expected at least mediocre food. We quit eating and they came to get our whole plates of food without even asking a question. Do not recommend.

Decided to give this place a try while visiting Key West. We ordered the chicken fettuccine and a shrimp pasta dish, but both were very bland with little to no taste. Lobster bisque soup seemed watered down. The service was pleasant, but overall the food did not meet the experience we were expecting after reading the reviews. Did not meet our expectations.

“Sorry we’re too busy”

We came here on our first-ever trip to Key West, and the experience was extremely disappointing.

When we arrived, the hostess told us they “sorry we’re too busy” — yet the three ladies ahead of us was told a 5-minute wait. One of the ladies actually joined us outside to sympathize as we looked perplexed. The hostess did not give any time estimate, or that we would have to wait - simple “sorry we’re too busy”.

It was obvious we were being brushed off, and it felt like the hostess just didn’t want to deal with us because we had kids or just couldn’t be bothered. This was meant to be a special night, but instead, we were met with unnecessary rudeness and dismissiveness.

Walking away and processing on how we were treated - my wife felt it necessary to go back inside a second time, to have a word with her manager and say her peace - and suddenly we were now told “we can take you, we have a table ready” — which just confirmed the poor attitude we had already experienced and point blank discrimination.

Absolutely uncalled-for behavior that set a very negative tone for Key West as a hospitable place. We took our business elsewhere - and must say Key West has plenty of amazing dining options — so I’d suggest going anywhere else where you’ll be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Otherwise good luck to you, perhaps the hostess is in a better mood when you arrive.

Mule did not have any mint along with lobster overcooked and tuff. The salad and sides were good, but that is not what we came for. The service was initially dast, but then it took a turn for the worse. We spent the meal listen to wait staff complain and curse over hostess calling in. No one came to offer boxes or check, so had to go up to bar in order to leave. While paying up by the bar the waitress was rude and irritated by us wanting to pay. We will not be back this trip or any others in the future.
