Cozy little place if you crave good mexican food. Dining in service seemed slow but we weren’t in a hurry. The food had nice portions and everything ordered was delicious.

We stumbled upon El Rinconcito while exploring Key West and were so glad we did! Tucked away in a strip mall with plenty of parking, this quaint little Mexican restaurant exceeded our expectations.

We started with the chicken nachos, which were absolutely delicious — you can definitely tell they hand-make their corn 🌽 tortillas. Fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick off the meal.

For dinner, our family ordered a variety of dishes: Birria Tacos, a hearty 🌯 Burrito, a cheesy Quesadilla, and Carne Asada — everything was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. You could taste the care and authenticity in every bite.

To top it all off, we had the Flan for dessert, and honestly, it might be the best dessert on the island. Smooth, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness — definitely better than some of the more well-known local dessert staples!!!

Whether you're a local or just visiting, El Rinconcito is a must-try for anyone craving authentic, homemade Mexican food in a cozy setting. Highly recommend!

Food is amazing. People are welcoming. Place is small but definitely worth visiting. Great service. Was super hungry and food was too good so missed pictures, don't miss their chips and queso. Have vegetarian options also.

Local business owner here. Went in for lunch today & sat there for 40 minutes as I watched all the tables that came in after us get food. I had patients at my office waiting for me. I told the young lady to just make the order to go. Then waited for another 15 minutes before I told her we need to go and will not be paying for our food. So no lunch for our office today. Looks like we will be going to Taco Express from here on out.

Excellent hole in the wall place. Tons of people did to-go orders. Small place but good friendly service and tasty food. It did take a bit to get the food (we’re used used to Mexican food being fast) but there were tons of people. We went on a Tursday where they had select $3 tacos. Free chips/salsa if you ask. The salsa tasted very fresh. They do have crunch hard shell tacos if you ask (not on menu) as well as ground beef.

Ground beef Sopes was delicious, as was the Carnitas tacos I had. They were perfectly seasoned, with a great fat to meat ratio. My wife had the fried tacos de birria, and it did not disappoint. This would easily become our go to spot if we lived here.
