Update your hours on google, otherwise dont get an attitude with me when I approach you at 755am* asking if you're open. The only reason to go here anyway is because Kermits is closed.
Beautiful place, typical. Very good coffee and Cuban sandwiches.
Reggae music in the background, the welcoming staff, the view, make this place the ideal break

My only disappointment is that I didn't go here sooner. Was looking for delicious conch salad on the island and gave Fisherman's Cafe a chance. The conch salad was perfect...so fresh and delicious. And the vibes are awesome. The old school island feel with thoughtfully prepared and fresh food. Make this a stop after your snorkel boat trip or in between drinks and Schooner.

Stopped by for conch salad and it was awesome. Its very authentic, packed with flavor but not overdone. The gentleman working at the counter was so pleasant. Will absolutely be back

No frills, nice breakfast, there are a couple of benches outside, which is great if you like people watching.
Vegetarian options: Avocado on Cuban bread.

If you don't know how to make colada, don't sell it, even I asked the “barista” if that was a colada and he most certainly told me “Yes, two espressos.” Two espressos are not a wash, son. I also asked for more butter for my toast that only tasted like bread and bread and they brought me a yellow liquid that tasted like oil, anyway. I do not recommend breakfast here.
Service is not pleasant

We heard the music and strolled in on a Sunday night. Had the best time here. Great drinks and service the band was awesome and it’s a super laid vibe. Definitely make this spot part of your night

New owners have taken this hot spot to a bad dive. $27 for a fish sandwich to go and less than 3oz of fish. Sad to see this bit of history fade but it is no longer worthy of our hard earned money
Restaurantji Recommends
Used to be a go to for us everything we visit key west, walked up to the window and the guy basically told us he had no specials, no employees, and just walked away pulling his wagon full of catered food. So sad.

We loved the blackened shrimp wraps and the blacked mahi tacos!! Fries were amazing. Small outside seating with view of lovely square, much better than sitting in a restaurant. Highly recommend.

Small cafe with a service window being the restaurant. Seating is outside. The menu is limited but has some seafood type options. We had the blackened shrimp wrap with fried plantains. It was fresh and the taste was okay. Service was very friendly and patient when questions were asked. The price of the meal is cheap compared to the area it is located.
