Used to be a go to for us everything we visit key west, walked up to the window and the guy basically told us he had no specials, no employees, and just walked away pulling his wagon full of catered food. So sad.

We loved the blackened shrimp wraps and the blacked mahi tacos!! Fries were amazing. Small outside seating with view of lovely square, much better than sitting in a restaurant. Highly recommend.

We chose Fisherman's Cafe based on previous reviews which mentioned having some Gluten Free (GF) options. Admittedly, I misjudged the weathered, physical appearance as I approached, but one bite of the food immediately had me mentally adding this to my list of Key West favorites! We timed our visit perfectly just after the peak lunch time and had the entire place to ourselves with only a few minutes to wait until our food came to our table hot and fresh. Once we began eating, we quickly adapted to the no frills, picnic style dining arrangement. The owner was low key (no pun intended) and soft spoken, but when I mentioned my wife's gluten allergy, he said "that sounds like celiac disease right? My best friend's wife suffers from the same thing." He then went on to list the menu items he could offer without worry, as well as what we should avoid. If you or someone in your dining party has celiac, you know what a relief it is when the person at the grill gets it! We are so thankful to whomever previously mentioned Fisherman's Cafe having GF options. I surprised myself by ordering the pulled pork sandwich rather than the Mahi Mahi tacos, but I was not disappointed with my choice. It came out in a few minutes piping hot and so delicious. The fries were similar to boardwalk type fries served hot and not too hard. My wife had the Island Bowl which she thoroughly enjoyed. Although the selections are limited, you are guaranteed a great meal fresh off the grill at the Fisherman's Cafe. We will be back one day!

Small cafe with a service window being the restaurant. Seating is outside. The menu is limited but has some seafood type options. We had the blackened shrimp wrap with fried plantains. It was fresh and the taste was okay. Service was very friendly and patient when questions were asked. The price of the meal is cheap compared to the area it is located.

Don’t waste your time or your money here. It has a great facade but Poor service, overly salty food, dry fish tacos and wouldn’t swap out French fries for anything else. Unfortunately a waste of money, time and missed out on eating at somewhere

We went to this hole in the strip solely based on the other great reviews and it didn't disappoint! We got the Mahi Mahi Tacos (blackened) and the Shrimp Wrap (blackened). Both came with fries. Loved that everything was made to order and fresh. There isn't much seating but if you are lucky, you can snag one of the stools and bar tops out front. Highly recommend!

The special of the day - conch sandwich was the worst. Fish made of rubber, chewy not edible and for $16.95 really poor.. won’t be back even when chef said it’s really

This atheist has found religion. There must be a higher power because there is no way that fish tacos can taste that good and not be blessed. ?

Wow, the best shrimp ceviche ever. Also had the cheeseburger sliders, those were excellent as well. Nice touch with the Boston lettuces.

If you're seeking a satisfying street food experience, look no further than this hidden gem near the old port in key west. The lobster bites and fish tacos are absolute must-tries. The fry was flawless - crispy, golden, and not the slightest bit greasy. Very recommended!
