Impressed and Amazed....that's how I'm starting off this post. Didn't know what to expect. I honestly hadn't heard to much, but I have heard it was all positive. We went there for my wife's birthday and a friend. We started off with cocktails which were just amazing. My wife had the Island expresso...OMG...she's not a coffee drinker, but I think this might have changed her mind. They made an impressive Coconut Bubble...you got to go there to see what I mean. I had the 1865 Smoked Old Fashioned...best one I have every had and our friend had the purple Cucumber Collins and she was so excited and happy with the flavor and presentation. For the food...first...everything on the menu looked good. We started with Appetizers that included the Cornbread Madeleines that were so good followed by the Pietro's Calamari...OMG...Best on the island...I'm serious when I say that...absolutely the best! and our friend ordered the Ahi Tuna Tartare Tostada with a mango yolk and the Stuffed Avocado with Lump Crab. The outside of the avocado looked just like the outside of an avocado, but it was black lime which was so good and genius. We decided to have the Prime Rib for two, which actually fed all 3 of us and a lobster tail. All perfectly cooked. Let me also say our waiter, Veli, was just the best. So friendly and helpful and very, very knowledgeable about the menu and the offerings. Just expanded on the experience we had. By dessert time we were so full, but since it was my wife's birthday she got to choose and her selections was the Smoked Chocolate & Cherries...WOW...is all I can say. All the staff from setting up the reservation to those filling our water and delivering our food were just so friendly and professional. This is a wonderful atmosphere, where you can sit inside with wonderful views or sit out side and enjoy the water and for us the sunset. We island dressed up for this, but we saw people who came in to dine in just relaxing attire. We'll be back...especially at happy hour as they have a really nice offering. Put this place on your must go restaurant. I know we have!

Do Not Bother!!!
I read the great reviews, which is why I chose this location.
Went here for my 50th birthday dinner while in Key West. Made reservations, so they knew there was a birthday. No one was in the restaurant when we arrived at 6:45, prime time for sunset... so we should have taken that as a hint.
The waitress never acknowledged my birthday, was unfriendly, and did not ever ask if I wanted a second drink!! The prime rib came out cold, she took it back, heated it up, and brought back the same plate. Microwave? For the money we spent, I really was expecting more, anything more, a friendly attitude even would have been nice, but mediocre food is not worth it at all. The sunset view was the same at Mallory Square...
We actually had better food at the Salty Frog, the tuna, seaweed, and wonton "nachos" are amazing.. or anything we ordered at Santiago's Bodega, all tapas were amazing. The short rib was the best!
I am truly disappointed with this place. Thankfully, we had plans after dinner, so this was not the memory of my half-century birthday.

An absolutely perfect experience. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere and views were magnificent and the food was absolutely some of the best me or my wife have ever eaten. If you're in Key West you need to try four flamingos.

The ambience, the host, and the complimentary glass of champagne were much appreciated. The food was very good. Oysters had a delicious pink horseradish sauce, my shrimp toast was delicious but came on a brioche bun and was served hot. The waitress told me it was a cold shrimp salad on toast. Regardless, I really enjoyed it. My husband ordered the swordfish BLT. It was also delicious but didn't have any bacon. We told the waitress and within minutes she had a plate of bacon at our table. I would definitely try this spot again. The view was just amazing and the service was very good.

View is spectacular. Food was hit or miss. Plantains and chicken dinner quite yummy. Lobster bisque was not on par with other Key West restaurants and seafood risotto was a disappointment. The kitchen needs attention from this award winning chef.

A hidden gem!! One of our favorites in key west! We are locals, best sunset dining in key west, we always request Anna as our server! We have tried most of the menu, and we have never been disappointed! The swordfish and seafood risotto is a must!

Our waiter was AMAZING! He provided excellent service with the right amount of conversation. He told us about his personal favorites on the menu, and my husband took his recommendation and LOVED (try the swordfish). The salsa was excellent as well. We truly enjoyed the entire experience.

What a pleasure to dine at Four Flamingos. From the moment you walk in, the service is exceptional. You aren't rushed, the meal can be at your pace. I loved that because the view is beautiful. Food was excellent—-the seafood risotto is amazing!!!

We have been a few times since they have opened and it has always been an amazing dining experience. From the drinks to the desserts to the service, I would give this place a 10/10! I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a pleasant fine dining option in Key West.

Extremely disappointing. Lobster bisque was tomato bisque with a few pieces of lobster on top. Seafood risotto was plain risotto with 2 shrimp and a lobster tail (both overcooked) on top. Celebrity chef? Only positive aspect was the view!

It was AMAZING! It lived up to all our expectations in every aspect. Plus—chef Blais was there! Food was fabulous, drinks were perfect, service was top notch. Moving to key west and will make this one of our favorite spots

It was absolutely wonderful. Chef Blaise visited our table and made our evening so special. All the food exceeded our expectations. A truly 5-star dinner by a Top Chef. Thank you so much for such a wonderful evening. As locals, we will be back again and again.

The service was fantastic. We were celebrating our anniversary and were treated to glasses of Prosecco and the island chips and salsa. The menu is very limited. One of us ordered the market fish, black grouper, which did not seem cooked very thoroughly and was slimy inside. The other of us does not eat seafood, and order the beat salad with chicken added. While it was delicious, it is not a full salad and the chicken was just on a side plate. We were seated at what is likely the prime sunset table, but the sun was still in the sky and was practically blinding on one side of the table. While we were eating, the host was working on stamping take out bags creating an incessant background noise. Despite the great service, overall, this dinner was not the best experience. We did eat breakfast at Four Flamingos 5 of our 8 mornings at the hotel. The food was plentiful and tasty; and the service was top notch.
