Funky Rooster Coffee House & Wine Bar

I am a frequent diner at funky rooster and I was taking it back today. this lady had dark hair in a ponytail I do not know her name, but she was so disrespectful to me. Now with words but her attitude was insane I got a chai latte and a banana muffin and and when she gave me my drink It was all perfectly fine and I told her that she forgot my banana bread. She told me oh you can grab it Off of the display and I was like OK and I was like can I get a paper bag and she was like she basically like didn’t even open the bag for me or anything just put down in front of me just so disrespectful and makes me not wanna come there again.. idk if she’s getting held hostage or something but she obviously hates her job if your this irritated at 8AM

Why is it that independent coffee houses don't understand the concept of a LARGE iced tea? I ordered a large here, and got a 12 ounce tea, for a very high price. . Starbucks and other national chains serve 30-32 ounce cups for their large iced teas, why can't independent places do that? The tea gets one star.

The double chocolate, chocolate chip cookies are excellent. The cookie gets 5 stars.

So bad. The only acceptable thing about this place is the atmosphere. The coffee tastes like cigarette smoke and the employees are extremely rude. Just be aware if you get something you don’t like that they will refuse to remake it or change it OR give you a refund. The only thing they’ll give you without an upcharge is attitude. They literally refused to refund.

I thought it was strange that there was no transaction screen to sign or leave a tip, then the somewhat unfriendly man at the register didn't offer me a receipt. I asked for the receipt and saw that he gave himself a 15% tip. This was Christmas day. Merry Christmas.

The place is very nice, feels cozy but not cramped. Very pleasant place to hang out while exploring Key West. Food is slightly on the expensive side, but the atmosphere plenty makes up for that.

The owners are not nice. They don't respect touch-less international credit cards, and the young lady was very rude. I don't recommend.

La atencion muy mala. La bartender con un humor de perros. Si NO tiene ganas de atender al publico que se dedique a otra cosa. Pesima experiencia. No vuelvo mas. The bartender has a bad day. She had a clever attitude. I asked for coffee with milk and she said she didn't understand. Until I asked her for “cafe con leche” as the menu said, she looked at me as if confused. ridiculous attitude of the bartender. I Don t come back again. Dec 2024

Cut & nice place. The happy hour spectacular! Coffees are amazing and it’s Slava/Ukrainian owned. Highly recommended!
