We stayed at the Gates hotel and were extremely happy to find Garbos Grill Two, next door.
Garbos Two is right at the Trolly pickup point in New Town. They have basically a permanent food truck setup with outdoor seating and everything.
We tried a bunch of stuff in the menu and we kept going back for more it was that good. We tried both kinds of shrimp tacos, fish tacos, fish burrito and their key lime pie. Everything was FANTASTIC.
We will definitely be stopping back at Garbos multiple times on our next visit even if we’re not staying next door.

My husband used to sell beef all over the U.S. & he wanted a burger .... We stopped in & he had a burger and I had a yum shrimp burrito.... His burger was delicious and my burrito was fabulous and so big I had to bring half of it home!!!! Check it out!!! The food is to die for & the people that work there are super friendly ?

I ordered a sandwich to go. The sandwich itself was great. Picking out the foil because they cut the sandwich in half after it was wrapped was not great.

I had the lobster roll.
It's MP (market price), so I checked the price before purchasing and it was $33. I thought it was expensive compared to other menu items, but local food is one of the joys of traveling, so I tried it and it was amazing! ️
Although the price is not much different from the lobster roll I had in Boston, the amount of lobster seems to be about three times as much. ?
The cost performance is good. I also bought a UMAMI burger and ate half of it with my wife, and we were extremely full. Thank you for the meal.

Had the Umami Burger. Came with a bag of chips. Great burger with choice of cheese, besides the normal lettuce and tomato slice. Nice setup for eating right on the site, with tables and chairs and a large fan for cooling.

Second Garbos location. Expanded menu options. Same great quality, sizeable portion, and military/local discount that Garbos offers. Cannot recommend enough. The KBBQ quesodilla was incredible

GARBOS grill two. Amazing food. A must stop if you are in key west. The food truck is situated in a parking lot beside the Hilton garden inn. Korean short rib in a taco or burrito is to die for. So good. Also the 1/2 lb burger was delicious. This was the best meal we’ve had and one of the cheapest.
