Island House is truly the best gay resort in the world—hands down. Every time I visit Key West, this is where I stay, and it’s always an amazing experience. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed into a warm, inclusive, and completely judgment-free environment.

The staff are incredibly friendly, genuine, and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and cared for. The entire resort is so well-equipped that you really don’t even have to leave—pool, hot tub, gym, café, bar, sauna… it’s all right there, and it’s all top-notch.

On top of that, the location is unbeatable—so easy and convenient to get around Key West. Whether you’re walking, biking, or hopping in a cab, everything you could want to explore is just minutes away.

“Very New Experience! I came with friends and we were welcomed and had a great time! We spent the entire day in the back (pool/bar/garden). Our bartender was Nick and he was very attentive, made great drinks and was super informative! We will absolutely return!“
