I ate in many places, here unfortunately the food was not very good. Maybe it's my fault because I relied on the suggestion of the service, which leaves much to be desired. I really did not feel good there,

We stayed in Key West for 3 nights and went to the following restaurants: Latitudes, Half Shell and Kaya Islamd Eats. Half shell for 3 people 2 courses was $215 with tip and a total waste of money. Poor quality food and very expensive it looked look it had come out of Walmarts frozen food fridges. The other 2 restaurants are highly recommended. Stay away from Half Shell.

Came here 7 years ago, and they had an amazing hogfish sandwich. They don't even serve hogfish anymore. So I had their 1lb peel and eat shrimp instead. The shrimp was huge, but came in this water down old bay broth that was very bland. You can tell they either switch owners or just cut corners to save on cost because now its just overpriced craptacular food.

Seafood restaurant located directly on the water in a rustic atmosphere. The oysters and fish were OK, but not exceptional. The main course was already served while we were still at the starters, even though we asked to wait. Overall, you had the feeling that you had to be processed quickly. That was too sporty even for American standards. The prices are also quite high for the quality of the food. Still 4 stars because of the beautiful location.

Great service and fun local dive bar feel. The fresh catch was seasoned and cooked perfectly however the oysters and clams were inedible.

If you're in Key West and craving fresh seafood, Half Shell Raw Bar is the ultimate go-to spot! We've tried a bunch of places, but this one wins hands down for the freshest oysters, peel n eat shrimp, and conch ceviche. It’s a seafood lover's happy place that doesn't break the bank.

As for drinks, the cocktails were just okay, so skip 'em and go for their awesome selection of draft beers instead. Also, the keylime pie was ???
