Service here is always great and the lunch menu offers something for everyone. The views are beautiful, just watching the boats go by.
The restaurant is located right on the front of the key to the west and affords a great spot to watch the sunset. The staff were attentive and the food tasted great. The restaurant itself is new modern and has great rest rooms. We had the surf and turf for $48 and both the steak and the lobster were cooked to perfection. Def recommend this place. We had the perfect pina colada priced at $10 a drink which was strong and delicious. My tip book the place for sunset watch the magnificent view with a great drink in your hands.
Key west was our first stop on our southern Caribbean cruise where we in search of Caribbean WHITE conch chowder (not the much more common Bahamian-style RED conch chowder). We did our research before the cruise, and found that this restaurant was the only one we could pin down to WHITE conch chowder. They DID have the WHITE conch chowder, and we were very satisfied with the flavor. It wasn’t quite as thick as the number one in the Caribbean WHITE conch chowder offered by Basil’s in St Vincent, Grenadines. (Really, by far the best!). The version at the Harbor View cafe also ground the conch into minute pieces, rather than tenderizing the conch meat and cutting it into bigger chunks. This takes away a little from the authenticity and flavor of the original recipe. However, it was still very much worth the trip! One bowl and one cup of chowder and 2 yuengling beers was $27.41 - before tip. A great lunch! There is a lovely indoor restaurant, right on the water at Duval street, but everyone ate outside on the beach. There was wheelchair access to both the inside and the outside eating area. Also, on a Tuesday afternoon, there was mellow (cat Stevens-style) live music outside.
My husband and I had hosted our wedding reception at the Harbour View Cafe, overlooking the ocean at sunset and it was an excellent choice. The view was amazing, the food was delicious and the staff were professional and quick to refill glasses during our three hour dinner reception, which went by so very quickly!
We were told about this place by a few friends and after a bit of difficulty found this lovely little spot. It's nestled next to a tiny little beach and had live music going on when we were there. Great food and a really nice relaxed atmosphere.
We stopped by this bar twice while roaming around Key West. Nice location near the water. Bartenders were super nice. They had live music both times we went and the singers were excellent. Drinks well made and a nice cocktail menu. We didn't eat, but we heard the food was good.
Not staying at the resort, it was a pleasant find to eat at the Harbour View Cafe. It's quieter here than on Duval. The view of the water is great, and we had the largest fish tacos I have ever seen!
If you want to have a meal with a great view over the harbour, then this is the place. They have a good menu and service, also.
I made reservations at the Harbourview Café a month ago for Christmas Eve. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were told that the Harbourview Café was merged into the other restaurant, One Duval. I called a couple days prior to confirm our reservation at the Harbourview Café and no word of the merge was mentioned to me. Even the Pier House’s website still shows that the Harborurview Café is present and has the menu available for viewing. The Harbourview Café menu was casual and much less expensive, so I was disappointed to find out that option was not available. We decided to stay and ate at One Duval because it was Christmas Eve and it would have been a long wait at any other restaurant in the area. Both the food and service were great, but we were not anticipating the more formal atmosphere and expensive menu.
Great location at the Mallory Square end of Duval Street. The bartender was fun and made this place one of our favorite ways to end our Key West days!

The service was prompt and attentive. We had a table outside on the deck with a view of the water, it was gorgeous! The cost was good for what you got, service, atmosphere, and tasty food. It was about $100 per couple that included a mixed drink each and the meal, which was either seafood or steak. We had a party of 6 and everyone was very pleased with their food.
We were looking for a restaurant with local flavor, and ended up at the north end of Duval Street at sunset, and decided on the view over the menu. The pier you eat at has a beautiful view of the Gulf and the nearer keys, with a gorgeous sunset over the ocean. The menu was short, and fairly standard for a trendy Florida restaurant: shrimp quesadillas, conch fritters, coconut chicken, etc. The food was good, but not exceptional. The drinks were mostly ice and not at all worth the price. The service was terrible unless you went to the bar (at the opposite end of the pier from our table). We had to wait half an hour just to get the check. We could have walked out and they'd never have noticed. They had live music, and we would have enjoyed it except that it was so freakin' LOUD. We wanted to talk and enjoy the view, not be deafened. I might try it again in the afternoon and see if there's no live music, but I'm not bucking to go back.
Fantastic food, great service and cant beat the view. I was not expecting too much food wise, but was very pleasantly surprised. Not only great food, but the Strawberry Daiqueri is about as good as I have ever had.
never had or heard of hogfish before but our server told us it a local fish and was very good. Great choice we actually went and had again before we went home!
Started with a banana mango daiquiri...very little alcohol and not the consistency of a daiquiri. Then had chips and salsa. Chips were stale. Salsa had absolutely no flavor. Conch fritters barely had any conch in them and were flavorless. Skipped the main course after the disappointing apps.
