We had an incredible experience at the Hot Tin Roof Restaurant. What put this dinner above and beyond was our experience with the FOH manager Wendy and our waitress Vanessa. They accommodated us, gave us an incredible view of the sunset, and made our anniversary dinner extremely special for us. If you’re looking for good food, beautiful sunset, and even better hospitality, I highly recommend this place.

Amazing food, lovely service, and breathtaking view of the key west sunset. We ordered the yellow tail fish with cilantro sauce 8/10, cauliflower 10/10, 10/10shrimp mc and cheese, 4/10 beet salad which wasn’t really a salad in my opinion. More like a small toast with beets on it and a separate green salad that looked like grass and had no beets on it. Amazing overall tho would definitely come back. 5 stars

Excellent. Best place to eat in Key West. Incredible service. Andrei was amazing and his team was the best service I’ve had, not just in Key West, but in all my travels. Can’t wait to eat here again.

My wife and I celebrated our 20-year wedding anniversary at Hot Tin Roof, and the entire experience was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional — especially our waiter, Andrei, who truly went above and beyond to make the night unforgettable.
Management arranged what was easily the best table in the house, giving us a stunning, unobstructed view of the Key West sunset. It was the perfect backdrop for such a special evening. Every course and drink was phenomenal — beautifully presented, full of flavor, and timed perfectly. Andrei’s attention to detail, professionalism, and warm personality elevated the entire experience.
If you’re visiting Key West and want an incredible meal paired with top-notch service, Hot Tin Roof is a must. Our anniversary dinner couldn’t have been better. Highly, highly recommended!

We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday but the check-in process was not as welcoming, resulting in 1 star less. Luckily the food and the service from the waitress made up for that. Overall still a good experience 😉

Best view restaurant in key west.
We came here twice during our 4-days stay.
Key lime pie is the best in key west.
Crab cake and swordfish are also delicious

My wife and I had reservations and sat in a nice private booth overlooking the water to watch the sunset. Our waitress was wonderful and food/drinks were excellent. Thank you for a great evening.

Our 10-year anniversary dinner at Hot Tin Roof was unforgettable. The combination of stunning sunset views, warm ambiance, and exceptional service made it far more than just a meal.
Our server Jackie was incredible — friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. She guided us through the menu, suggested perfect pairings, and even took beautiful photos for us.
The food was outstanding: the Jumbo Lump Crabcake with corn sauce was rich and flavorful, the Crispy Brussels Sprouts perfectly cooked, and the Wagyu Beef melted in our mouths. The pastry chef’s Key Lime Pie, shaped with cinnamon into a palm tree, was a delightful finale.
Every detail — from service to presentation — was flawless. Hot Tin Roof delivered an experience we’ll cherish forever

Just finished my birthday dinner there. Food was delicious, different but not overly complicated. Our waiter Andrei was pleasant and attentive, and he went the extra mile to make my birthday feel like a perfect, intimate celebration. Views can’t be beat.

We chose this restaurant because of view.
But they have just a 10% of tables outside. The presentation of the food was unusual for America. It was more European. The food was 7 from 10. I took tacos with tuna and fried catch, my wife took lobster soup and baby beet. Tacos and fish in fried catch were too small. Baby beet was most likely with season salad.
