Oh man. These folks can cook! We had the Huevos Rancheros, the Cuban Mix sandwich, and the carnitas burrito and taco. The Rancheros were the best I have ever had. My husband's Cuban Mix sandwich was gone in a couple minutes. Carnitas were excellent as well. Highly recommended.

Birria burrito is decent and the hot sauce good. But also ordered an omelette for $13 and got 2 eggs over hard with cheese on top. Extremely disappointed for the money.

We’ve been stopping here for two years in a row on our way from Miami to Key West - it’s our little tradition now! They moved to a new location about three months ago, so if it looks different from the place you remember - don’t worry, it’s the same Karlita’s, just a new spot.
As always, the food is delicious, the staff is super friendly, and the Cuban coffee… oh my god, it kills anyone who’s not used to such strong coffee 😂

Breakfast burrito with the churri sauce is fantastic.
Discovered this gem as it across from Azul (great stay, check em out!). The food is SO DARN GOOD!! I got the huevos rancheros one morning (to die for), and the breakfast burrito another morning. They serve food all day, but we only hit them up at breakfast. I imagine everything is good! Their cuban coffee was as good as cuban coffee queen. Most days language barrier was not a problem, there was a young guy who was working our last visit before we left KW, his inability to understand us was problematic- our food order was wrong. BUT, the lady from the back who brought the food out, she fixed the issue right away. Staff do need to be able to speak enough english to do the job if you're going to leave him in charge of the front of house. Not really a complaint as everything was made right. This will be where I get breakfast next time I am in town!
