Live in Florida 2 counties over and this has ALWAYS been our go to place for Conch Fritters in Key West in the heart of Mallory Square. The same guy has been running this charming stand for probably 20+ years, and IS THE ORIGINAL Conch Fritter stand!!! ALL other copy cats came after.Such a nice friendly guy, SUPER helpful in suggesting places to check out in Key West and its a pleasure supporting his small business. If he's not too busy, he'll blow on the conch shell, if you ask nicely and his lungs are prepped. ???? Hands down the BEST conch fritters you can have in the Keys!

Very good conch fritters and location was next to Shipwreck museum.. Super fast service and busy stand. Take away only. No sitting area.

Of 8 fritters :only two had one tiny piece of conch the size of a small pencil eraser and the other 6 had nothijg detectable and were 100% just fried dough ! Rediculous ! I only complain once every 5 years about anything ! But this is completely horrible ridiculous ! Ughhh : (

Still open! This guy is great. He made a custom drink for me and it was delicious.
We tried to order conch fritters here but the girl working the stand was no where to be found. We waited 15 minutes and she finally showed up with a cart of supplies from across the square she never even acknowledged that customers were standing there waiting. We stood there another 10 minutes and she literally never said a word, just went on putting her FROZEN food away. not a good feeling for a place supposedly serving FRESH food. We left and went to DJ's Clam Shack and got FANTASTIC conch fritters from a really friendly and pleasant staff! Save yourself the trouble and go to DJs first.

Delicious conch fritters made fresh when you order. The sauce was very good too. There are 2 stands, a portable stand set up at Mallory square open for sunset and the other was the permanent place right outside the aquarium entrance. We tried both places, they were both good but thought the one by aquarium was best. A must try when in Key West!

Went down October 2018, not bad conch fritters Tasty but had better on the drive down to KeyWest that i will go back to.

I enjoy conch fritters and was excited to have them again when I visited Key West for the first time. I didn't get a chance to enjoy these until late in the trip, but thank goodness I did! They were the best that I found in Key West! The men at the counter were friendly and welcoming. As well as being really tasty, the food items are reasonably priced! I loved them so much I went out of my way to grab another batch before I left the island!

I grew up in Key West and know conch fritters, and without a doubt these were THE WORST I’ve ever had. If I could give a negative score I would - I’ve had better conch fritters at Bahama Breeze than these in Key West. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to get fritters. Next time I’m in town I’m going to try Sandy’s Cafe to see how their fritters are as the rest of the food they serve never disappoints.
