I booked this hotel for my daughter and friends. They had nothing but praise for the property. It was clean, staff extremely friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. If they get a chance to re-visit Key West, they expressed that they will re-book the same place.

Great location and amenities. Rooms were simple but clean. Bathroom was shared only with the people in the room. Good price point. Also appreciated the little extra things that were included such as soap, shampoo etc.

Clean rooms, good swimming pool and whirpool, perfect breakfast, good location. We only had problema with wifi connection and we got on 3 beds for 4 people. But staff helped us and solved the problem.

Didn't know what to expect staying at a hostel for the first time, but I felt safe and comfortable the staying here. The other guests were friendly and tried to be quiet at night, and the staff was beyond friendly. Great property, management, location and loved that they have bike rentals! Plan to stay at NYAH for future key west trips!

we checked in - no problem- got a free botlle of wine. beds were comfortable. just a little of of the business but was quiet. pools were very nice. breakfast was average but free. bikes for rent - we didnt use but got a golf cart( very good way to travel - parking is a bit of a chore. ) overall rate high- would stay there again.

Shower water flow is very low and air conditioner needes to be larger, barely gets to comfortable temp deep into the nigh and to lower humidity. Daytime is very insufficient. A small ceiling fan would also help.

Booked this on Airbnb, nothing like they portrayed in the listing. It’s a bunch of multi unit houses with a front office. The room was dirty, top bunks weren’t made, air conditioner was some tiny piece of junk $80 unit from Home Depot that couldn’t keep up on an 84 degree day. Room was disgusting, dirty, in disrepair, mold in shower, mold ob counter caulk, door frame rotted, fridge rusted, floor is damaged, No a/c in bathroom, exhaust fan didn’t work, no parking. Do yourself a favor, find another place.

We stayed here previously and loved it. The room we were in this trip was not up to standards. Service was minimal. Rooms weren’t cleaned unless requested. Staff was almost vacant and not friendly. We also received an additional charge at checking that we weren’t expecting.

I would recommend the location for people who just need a cheap place to stay very close to downtown Key West. Due to my budget as a Solo traveler I stayed here again during my recent trip to KW. The staff was very unfriendly and uninterested which made me and other guests I talked to unwelcome. The rooms need a deep clean since there were lots of dead bugs & flies in the lamp as well as on windowsills. In adition you get visited by cockroaches at night. Also the cleaning staff was not attentive at all. They passed dirty dishes, unused towels & food at the pool several times without removing. The only positive thing I can say about the hostel is the amazing pools & breakfast as well as meeting very nice travelers.
Travelled with 3 other family members, reserved a 2 bedroom suite on the third floor. Both bedrooms had problems with ceiling height owing to slanted roof. The main BR with a king bed had the TV, with no room even for a chair. A few could pile on the bed to watch TV there if desired. The common area had a fridge and 2 dilapidated chairs plus a small round table that probably came from a curb. The second bedroom was the issue. You had to stoop to walk around the double bed - and it had the in-window AC which of necessity ran constantly, loudly and worst of all, emitted a musty and chlorine smell. No place to open a suitcase in any of the rooms. Not a bench, luggage rack or extra chair (2 chairs total for 4 people). Location was fine, breakfast was fine.

This place is worth the stay! Tons of cool people and tons of different room options. Great pool and staff, very comfy beds. Super close to anywhere you’d want to go and literally the only place where you can fit more than 5 friends in one room ALL TOGETHER! Incredible

It was me my husband, my son and the girl friend. We had a Great experience , hot tub , tasty breadfast. Nice place for have fun adults. Long walk to the beach, you have to be lucky to park if you bring a car.

Needs renovation but not complaining about this as price was acceptable. Dirty main bedroom was not acceptable though so hope this is resolved soon. Parking solution is available for future guest so please enquire at reception if you arrive early.

Be careful with booking a 3bed room. Its in fact a 4 bedroom with one bed locked affecting the comfort of the 3rd bed:-( The staff is overall unfriendly and housekeeping only available on request. Breakfast rather poor.
