Was our first visit. Will definitely go back. Was very surprised though that a fine dining "Italian" restaurant does not serve meatballs or marinara sauce. How does THAT happen????
We had an outstanding experience here. From the service and ambiance to the delicious cuisine. We had the carpaccio and the escargot as starters, followed by a black grouper sauteed with spinach and artichokes in a light cream sauce and fettuccine Alfredo. YUM!!!
We dined at La Trattoria Sunday evening, August 3rd. Our food was delicious. I had the Penne Venezia. The pasta was cooked to perfection. My husband had the fish special. The fish was moist and not overcooked. For dessert, we had the "New York style" cheesecake with caramel and raspberry sauces. It was a very nice ending to our dinner. Josh, our server, was excellent. He was very attentive. The only drawback to our experience was that it was a little warm in the restaurant....
