What a great place for views, food, and drinks. The crab cake with guacamole is phenomenal in flavor. The crab meat was fresh, and with the hint of lime in the guacamole, made it pop.! My Root Beer pork chop was delicious. It was with flavorful mashed sweet potatoes that had that wonderful brown sugar flavor. The shrimp and grits ...yumm as well! A must-have is the chocolate brownie Creme Brule.
Amazing meal!

We enjoyed an exceptional dinner and service tonight at Louie’s! So often we go out for meals and are totally disappointed but tonight is one we’ll remember! The service was phenomenal, they offered up half size portions of their meals to serve our 4.5 year old which was so nice! They got her a comfy pillow to boost her up in her chair and even she, nearly polished her plate (steak mashed potatoes and green beans!) thankful to find a restaurant that will serve kids real food and not offer a menu of chicken fingers, mac n cheese etc.
We only have a short stay in Key West and sad we can’t go back to try the other dishes!
Can’t forget the views. Outstanding! And the Key Lime Pie… chef’s kiss!!!
Well done!
Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating to our 4.5 year old! She loved her experience and all of the food!

Jimmy Buffett’s favorite Key West Hang out for a reason. Fits as much in Key West as it would Block Island, Mystic or Sag Harbor. Understated yet elegant with high quality yet wholesome food and service you would not necessarily expect to see in heavily trafficked Key West.

This is another place we expected and wanted to love, but it really failed to meet expectations.
First and foremost, we called ahead and made a reservation. I mentioned it was 3 of us, one being my infant (just so they could plan the table accordingly). When we arrived, the hostess was extremely rude that we brought my son, and scoffed when we asked if they had high chairs. Actually audibly scoffed. Look, it's a nice restaurant, and I should have asked on the phone, but you would think that they would have said something when I called that they don't accommodate babies, and expect you not to bring them. Her reaction was appalling and we considered leaving, but it was close to the kid's bedtime, so we stuck it out.
The atmosphere was phenomenal, and the only reason I am giving this place 2 stars. The food was very niche and not our style for the price. The server was overall friendly, but again, we felt very unwelcome.
If you have a kid, don't go here. Just don't do it. Unless they have made a hard pivot in the last 2 months.
Kid-friendliness: Do not bring kids. No high chairs. Staff are extremely rude about any kid accommodations.

Fantastic food, had the catch of the day. We sat outside at sunset, bartender was attentive but not annoying and recommended good drinks. Food was fairly priced but not cheap. Super chill, would recommend!

Amazing fine dining place right on the water… right on the beach!!! Indoor and outdoor white cloth experience…. They also have an outdoor bar as well as an upstairs cafe with stellar views. We loved this place.

We loved this place. We came with our two pets, and they were given water to drink. The food was awesome; we had the dish of the day (fish, rice, and green beans), a double cheese hamburger, and a BBQ sandwich. We sat outside and enjoyed the nice view. The service was excellent, and Flik and Edgar were very kind.

Agree with others that this was our best meal and dining experience in Key West, far superior to other more popular waterfront restaurants we tried. We sat outside on the veranda and it was a lovely experience. Service was outstanding, and the food incredible. I had the tuna and my husband the filet, both perfectly seasoned and fresh. Sufficient wine list, highly recommend this lovely spot.

Food was so tasty, no over powering flavors, well balanced, food presentation above & beyond. Atmosphere was exactly what the Keys are all about. Definitely return.

Very disappointing.... Went there for my birthday... Used to go to Louie's when my family lived in key West and they were amazing... Presentation poor... Add the shrimp and grits the shrimp was completely overcooked I couldn't believe this was Louie's... A nice server and again the atmosphere is beautiful I would go there for drinks and that's it food is gone downhill!!!!!
