After several days of seafood in Key West, we were really craving some good Italian food—and coming from New York/New Jersey, we’re spoiled with great Italian spots. Mangia Mangia did not disappoint! The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, and the sauces were spot on. We loved the ability to craft our own pasta with the type, sauce, and protein of our choice—it was such a fun and customizable experience. The broccoli rabe was also delicious and absolutely worth ordering. Definitely a standout Italian spot in Key West!

Our favorite restaurant in key west! We tell everyone back home about it. We first discovered it back in December and loved it so much we got some takeout on our last day to take back home with us. Now, we just came back from another trip to KW and did the same thing again, we dined in once and got takeout to take home with us on our last day. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is homey and welcoming. Everything is cooked to perfection, however our favorite dishes are the chicken Marsala and the sea scallops. Can’t wait to visit again on our next trip down!

Everything we ate tasted delicious. We hope they start bottling their sauce and shipping it - we’ll be customers for sure if they do.

We passed by during the day while they were closed and thought it looked so cute we came in that same evening for dinner. Unfortunately, we chose not to eat here after trying to order 3 things and being told that everything is premade. We ordered the bruschetta and asked for no mozzarella, the server said the bruschetta topping is premade so they can’t remove the mozzarella (ok, maybe understandable). We then tried to order the asparagus which is “topped with Gorgonzola”, we asked for no Gorgonzola, and were told that the whole dish is premade so they can’t remove it. Then we ordered the broccoli rabe which is topped with shaved Parmesan, asked for no Parmesan and was told the whole dish was premade so they can’t remove. When it comes to vegetables and Italian food, we enjoy food that is fresh and made to order so this place was not for us so we left without dining. Also, their website explicitly states they have “plant based dishes” right on their homepage and when we inquired the server said “not really” and suggested a salad.

One of the best pasta meals I’ve ever had. We ordered the Scallops with creamy pesto over spinach fettuccine, and the lobster linguine!
The Key Lime Pie for dessert was an exceptional finish. So darn good!

Quant Italian place. Food and wine were delightful! I ordered the spinach fettuccine Alfredo with crab and my husband had the chicken parmesan. The Alfredo was not heavy and there was plenty of crab on top. We both cleaned our plates! We went there on Sunday when they opened (5:30) and there was no wait. If you are craving Italian while in Key West, stop by Mangia Mangia!
