After soaking in the island vibes and live reggae at the Green Parrot (and munching on a little popcorn), my wife and I decided to stroll over to Duval Street in search of a laid-back dinner spot. This longtime Duval mainstay hit the mark perfectly for a quick yet satisfying meal.
We split two standout dishes: the blackened hogfish served over creamy risotto and the Black Angus Chimichurri Steak. Both were flavorful and well-prepared, offering a great mix of island seafood and bold, savory steak. The photo shows a bit of both dishes combined on one plate.
The atmosphere was exactly what you’d hope for on a Key West evening—casual, fun, and mostly outdoors with a lively, welcoming vibe. All in all, a great way to cap off a night in paradise.

Me and my wife reserved the Banyan Room to host our wedding rehearsal dinner for our wedding party and family. The food was so delicious. The servers kept bringing more as needed. They kept coming by to make sure that we had everything that we needed. The atmosphere was very tranquil and relaxing. Our wedding coordinator Bradi Parks (Cahill) recommended Mangoes and it did not disappoint!

We hosted our wedding reception at Mangoes and it was absolutely perfect. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming, and the entire team made the night feel seamless and so special.
The food was truly incredible — our guests are still raving about it. The chef and his team put so much care and thought into every dish. Everything was flavorful, beautifully presented, and timed perfectly throughout the evening.
A huge thank you to Bradi, who helped bring everything together. She was organized, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our celebration exactly what we envisioned. We felt so supported every step of the way.
We couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate such an important day. Highly recommend Mangoes for any wedding or special event!

We had a very large Mangoes salad that was a bit too tart for my taste but still nice overall but the lobster mac and cheese is outstanding. I recommend it.

Went for happy hour/early dinner. Live music was great and outdoor seating was very nice. Happy hour prices were awesome, drinks were well made, staff was a lot of fun, and food was top notch!

My wife & I stopped by for happy hour. 1 draft beer, 1 Pino Grigio, Empanadas as an appetizer, & 2 taco salads. $83.00 before tip. Absolutely insane. Will never return. Customers beware.

It’s easy to love the food, fresh and delicious! The hostess is not as friendly as most customers would appreciate! Expecting everyone to know what they will consume the minute they request a table is rude. The first time this happened to my group we thought how silly this young woman is to demand this information. I have been eating here nearly a month now and this has not changed! Someone with a positive attitude greeting new customers would be truly appreciated.

We stopped here while on the food tour for the Conch fritters with key lime aioli and Pre-Conch Republic Chowder. I have a shellfish allergy so I had the mahi-mahi taco, which had wonderful flavor. My husband enjoyed this conch fritters and chowder, and he usually does not eat things like that. He said the aioli was delicious.

We had came here earlier in the day for a beer and an appetizer during happy hour and decided to come back for dinner. It did NOT disappoint. The music was great, the Hogfish was phenomenal!! This will definitely be a first stop anytime we visit Key West! We tried a few other places in town and they all failed in comparison. Which is why we ate here four times in three days. You will not be disappointed!
While my meal of the Caribbean roasted chicken was amazing, my husband ordered the wagyu burger and ended up with food poisoning. The calamari was also terrible…there’s much better calamari at other places. The service was terribly slow and it wasn’t even full.

Great place to visit, a bit pricey but completely worth it and you get to be around the little birds.
