This is such an amazing place to grab an ice cream after walking around key west. Definitely one of the most delicious I’ve tried. Their cake batter ice cream was amazing. I would definitely return

I hesitate to leave this three star review because the pie was actually GOOD! Very homemade, very good. The first time we went, the lady was nice and she gave us that good pie, and I don’t want to take away from that. HOWEVER, the second time we went, there was a guy working the counter and he obviously wasn’t very versed in what to do. My husband ordered the key lime milkshake and after some hesitation, the gentleman scooped some hard vanilla ice cream into a cup, filled...

Growing up in South Florida, id say Ive had a few hundred pieces of key lime pie in my life, at least. Mattheessen’s is definitely in the top few best pieces, maybe the best or tied for the best. The graham cracker crust is perfection, and the filling is a masterpiece. Id say it definitely is one of the best pieces of keylime pie 🥧 on earth.
